Campgrounds were a bit too close for my liking, but all were well maintained and were level. I camp out of the back of my truck, so there were several drive in ready spots. Definitely cooler in the summers months, though as others have mentioned - zero cell service, so come prepared as it's about 30-40 minute drive down the mountain. Price was fair and there was firewood for sale. Plenty of dumpsters and vault toilets, but no running water. I prefer dispersed camping, but I would come again if the opportunity arises.

Very beautiful, quiet campground. Well maintained, clean vault toilets. Limited potable water available. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I'm not a fan of camp grounds, but this one is pretty good. I would definitely recommend it. It's right next to Spruce Knob Lake and only about 20 minutes from Spruce Knob.

Great place to get away. There is no electricity and only one source of non drinking water. But it's worth it. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Nice remote campground. It's a 30 minute or more drive from any type of civilization so be prepared. The roads up here are good gravel roads. The campsites are pretty basic, I recommend the walk in tent sites 35-40 for optimum forest feel. Zero cell service.
