Not quite sure why they’re charging so much you might as well go rent an apartment or house for the price that they want considering all their providing is sewer, electricity, and water and we bring our own housing. It’s insane to me that we’re getting charged 1,200 Per month, I have been playing into the idea of moving my RV there. I was trying to back in April but there is very terrible. Customer service also stopped giving me a call back once I mention my own Pitbulls, which, in that case just be honest and tell me you don’t want me there, but recently just called again to see pricing and stuff as now they’ve been established a little bit longer, but there’s just no rhyme or reason for it to cost that much when you’re bringing your own housing there it’s not like you’re next to the park or anything that would make it that high of the price absolutely ridiculous

We stayed almost a month while we explored Glacier and the surrounding area. Excellent location for Whitefish, Bigfork, Flathead Lake, West Glacier and Kalispell. Close to grocery and big box stores. We loved the large open feel and the ability to walk our dogs, but would have been nice to have an off leash dog park. The sites are level and spacious and it is very quiet with little to no highway noise. We enjoyed the sunsets and the mountain views. We really enjoyed the walking and bike path just steps away from the campground. The owner is on site 24/7 and extremely responsive. Nice laundry facility and bath house although we didn’t need to use. We were able to receive Amazon packages so that was a bonus. The campground was clean and the road is wide and was easy to navigate with our dually and 44 foot RV.

Montana Basecamp RV has the best customer service and hospitality I have ever experienced during an RV trip. I came to Kalispell Montana to experience the beauty of the area. Traveling from out of state I didn’t know the area and booked a site at another RV park. When we pulled in I knew I couldn’t have my family staying there. Everything in the area was completely booked up. I called Montana Basecamp RV and spoke with Andy and explained my situation to him. Within 45 min he made some adjustments and was able to get me into a site in-spite of being full. Montana Basecamp RV (Andy) saved a family trip to Montana that would have otherwise been ruined. This is a beautiful park. Everything is exceptionally clean and it is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!

Perfect location 👌 for Flathead, Kalispell, or Glacier. Also, it's on the buke/rec trail system. Basic park but the sites are great for big rigs and nice and level. Very clean. Owner/host is super nice. We would definitely stay again.

This is check-out day after spending a few days enjoying the mountains around Flathead Lake. I can say that we will definitely be coming back, both for the mountains and for the RV park. It is located near amenities such as a grocery store and a hardware store, adjacent to an RV store. It has unbelievable views of the mountains and lake, as well as a HUGE area for dogs. Alex, a owner/operator, was attentive and very kind. Not sure what the issue is with the bathrooms was, which were mentioned in some previous posts; they were modern and clean. We have travelled all over the western half of the US, and this place has a star next to it for us.

Stunning views of the Salish and Mission Mountains, large paved sites with beautifully manicured grasses and plenty of hangout spaces. This is a quiet park with lovely laundry facilities and a paved walking loop near a beautiful creek. Located near everything you might like to see while visiting. The owner Andy is a polite and good man who does the care of the place himself; a dedicated businessman. This park is our top pick when visiting here in the Flathead. It is an all- season park though I admit you cant beat the place in summer the snow in winter is gorgeous too as the roads are kept cleared for the guests. Well named park... let this be your next basecamp for your visit to the Flathead.

Very nice, clean rv park. Sites are very large and level. Free laundry is a nice bonus. Andy, owner/operator is a great host. This is a good place to stay for both visiting glacier national park and flathead lake area. Definitely recommend

Amazing RV park! Easily accessible location on the loop around town. The road into the park and between the rows of sites is wide and easy to maneuver. Super clean, long sites are paved, level, huge and free of attack trees. Plenty of room between sites. Our site (at the back of the park) was very quiet, absolutely no highway noise and no trains. Our mail and packages were accepted, which doesn’t happen everywhere. There is easy access from the back of the park to The Great Northern Historical Trail, a 22 mile asphalt, mixed use trail. Andy, owner/operator, does a great job keeping this place up. NOTE: all sites are back in so motor homes that are towing must unhook. We didn’t need or use the park bathrooms or laundry so I can’t speak to them. Also there is no pool, playground or dog park but there is so much to do in the Flathead Valley who needs them! Get outside and enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay at Montana Basecamp and literally used it as our Basecamp for a week at Swan Lake, a short drive away. First off, the campground was very clean, nicely manicured, the lots are paved and level concrete and oversized, so we had some spacious room for our travel trailer + 2 vehicles. There were lots of big motor coaches parked there so indeed, plenty of room. Andy was very pleasant to work with, very accommodating and kept an eye on the place as he seemed to be onsite daily. At night, it was very quiet and overall despite there being many other campers there with families, dogs, etc. it was very peaceful overall. We have a 2 yr old lab and the trail that goes around the campground was wonderful. Nicely paved, not crowded at all, it was perfect for daily walks. Firewood and laundry facilities are free, although we didn’t use either. I highly recommend this place and would go there again!

Thanks for accommodating us and for such a great stay Andy! Basecamp is beautiful and in a great location with super easy access. The views are gorgeous, fire pits are great, the property is very well kept, and you can hop on the Rails to Trails paths right from your campsite. I see that some people have based their review on the state of the bathroom, I personally didn’t use it…that’s why you have a camper and utilize the hookups that are provided ☺️, but it was nice to know that if we needed it we could have used it. Highly recommend. We’ll be back, thanks again Andy!

Park is Beautifully maintained and Andy is amazing to work with. Our spot was spacious with a view of the mountains. The fire pit was a big hit with the family. It was close to the soccer complex which was also nice. I will be staying again in the future! Thank you Andy

Very impressed with this park. we stayed 3 night. We did not use restrooms because we have our own. The walking trails are super. We will be back again.

We stayed her with our 40’ fifth wheel and had plenty of space for both the RV and our truck. Andy the owner is great and takes pride in his property. The facilities are clean and we loved our big site! It was great to have a fire pit and the over 1 mile trail that goes around the property. You can ride your bike or walk miles along the bike path as it’s part of a much longer path. The area is great, we will definitely be returning!

Beautiful place to stay! We loved our visit here. Each site has a big nicely manicured lawn with fire pits and picnic table. The laundry rooms are super clean and easy to walk to. Multiple areas to walk to to sit and watch the sunset or sunrise. There is a bike path you can access that runs by the campground. Located close to nice grocery store too.
