I have stayed at a lot Of RV parks throughout California Nevada Oregon. I have stayed at expensive ones $150 plus a night and I have stated parks that are $50 a night. In my opinion, this park is an excellent value. Clean sites, free, laundry, excellent showers. The Saints are all paved and mostly level usually within an inch or two. For approximately $60 a night. I don’t know why somebody would complain about this place. Staff is friendly nice it’s nice to say at a golf course. It’s not actually truly camping in the woods but you’re in the middle of Monterey. It’s a great spot sure it has a couple little hiccups here and there, but for the money, you will not find a better place

Pros: It's in the center of city with close proximity to Pacific Grove and Carmel. Walking distance to the golf course if that's your thing. The bathrooms are very clean and the laundry machines are free. Cons: noise: commercial airlines start departing from behind the campground starting at 5 a.m and ending around midnight. Very loud jet engines and if you are a light sleeper, this would be a deal breaker. There was jack hammering behind some campsites at 6 a.m one morning. Mowers start mowing the green 5-6 a.m. 2-3 days a week. Our toddler hardly slept and we were so sleep deprived. We were told mowers come to mow our "grass" i.e. weeds on Wednesdays and to have everything off the dirt that day. We moved our fire pit, chairs, but never saw a mower that week. The sites are newly paved but extremely unlevel. The front of our motorhome was jacked so high and wobbly, but still not completely level. The water pressure was very low (not an issue with our RV) we needed to go to the bathrooms to take a decent shower and get the soap out of our hair.

This place is not big, only 38 spots but it's amazing. So well maintained, mature trees, free laundry, cleanest bathrooms and showers we've ever seen, surrounded by a golf course. Would definitely stay here again. Rates were very reasonable.

Monterey Pines RV Campground It has water, electric and sewage. Free laundry. Nice shower and warm bathroom. 😊 If you are a Navy veteran, daily rate is $55/ night. Civilian is $95/ night. Decided to stay here for 2 nights. This is not true camping!! However, they start mowing the golf course right next to you at 5 am!! Planes fly above you. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be your choice.

Clean, free laundry. Terrible airplane noise all night long and worst is, they called us on Thanksgiving, after Turkey in oven to say we had to move to another sight number. Didn’t tell us when we checked in two days prior for a three night stay! Mgr excuse was she only sees reservations one day at a time. Well get a different system then!! Found out several people had same issue. Sight host was great, manager Rosalie was rude and lied that she gave us a windshield paper upon checkin with two sights and dates.
