lovely campground, enjoyed passing through on our bikepacking trip around Lake Champlain

First, we were told when we reserved by phone that they could not send a confirmation by email. That was rather unnerving not knowing if we would in fact have a site when we arrived. Next, we were charged for two sites because we wanted to put a one person tent on our site beside our trailer. Fine. Lastly, we noticed our sewer hookup was dumping sewage in to the site next to us. Thankfully the people had pulled there trailer out after waking up from a rainy night in a swamp. Not a place I would recommend.

Well located, with old and large trees, in a quiet location, on the shores of Lake Champlain. Five stars for the bathrooms and the swimming pool, very very clean and in excellent condition. On the other hand, the sites for passing campers are a little dated and lack maintenance: for the asking price ($90 CAD/day), we could have expected flatter and better maintained sites...

This is a smallish, old and tired campground that has many very old and tired seasonal campers. The management is very nice. If you have a boat, it is a great spot as there is a landing and rentable slips across the street. We had trouble with the septic, as the raw sewage backed up all over the site when we dumped. Found out that the tank had not been prior emptied and without any way to contact anyone after hours, it was a bit smelly and unhealthy overnight. Pretty expensive ($60/night) for what we got compared to others. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained. Sites were not level, and we were in a 36’ Class A.

I camped there last week in a tent. I was there to practice and fish a tournament. I was very pleased with the campsites. Good size, had water and electricity. The facilities were very nice and clean. I didn't get to use the pool, but the people in the pool looked happy. Everyone I met was very nice. The people in the office were great. They had ice and ice cream on a hot day. I couldn't ask for anything more

Our reservation for a one-night stay involved getting a campsite assigned at the time of check-in. The site we got initially was unacceptable to us, as it was adjacent to both a decaying trailer home and a work area of some sort. So we asked for another site, and got it with no fuss. The second site was very nice, with a partial view of the lake beyond the lane, and we enjoyed it a lot. The bath house was clean, but the push-button showers were frustrating (about 15 seconds of flow before another push was required) and only moderately hot. Didn't use the pool, but it looked great. This was a quiet camp, and folks were friendly. We'd stay there again, especially if we wanted to do some boating. Seems like most folks at this campground stay for extended periods, using the adjacent marina with their boats.

We went there to visit some friends. The only thing I can say is there’s a lot of campers that are ready to fall apart. It would be very nice if the owners would clean out the dumpy campers.
Very charming spot on the lake especially if you are also using the marina. Bathrooms/ showers were super clean but shower controls and temp were not pleasant. Quiet at night and people are very friendly. Great staff and nice site.

Ms Sheila was very accommodating for us. The campground has a great bathhouse. Very clean. The pool is sparkling clear. The office has snacks and such. The boat ramp was a plus for us since we were there fishing every day. There are a lot of long term campers there, but the campground is very well kept and clean. We would stay again.

Spent one night on my way to Canada. Clean and quiet. The utility services are oddly located on the site I was on. The beauty of the campground and the area more than make up for it. We definitely go back given the chance.

Positive first : the view from the docks is amazing . Pool has always been clean. Negative : grounds poorly kept ( lawns, fences, multiple collection sites for junk). 5.00 per day per guest of seasonal campers. Fireworks at certain sights until late into the night. Rules and fees not equally enforced as sights are not supposed to have camper and tent ( some have had them with manager aware) . Fees not charged to some . In one incidence as a seasonal I was called and accused that my husband was observed speeding through park and the manager was less than nice on the call, to say the least I was confused ..... he was at work! Many campers not well cared for , many vacant. It could be an amazing place with amazing views. Sorry to say it’s one of the highest priced with least upkeep or amenities .

Water and sewer at each camp site; lots of beautiful trees/cover; their bath house is spacious and spotless.

Friendly staff. Good value. Buildings and playground need TLC.
