Just a relaxing place for my children to play and for a nice walk. For others it meant camping and boating but got us it was great having a picnic and enjoying the sunshine there.

We came up from sunny Florida to search for fresh snow and try some ice fishing. Turns out ice fishing is a little more challenging than we expected. We did however find fresh snow and while walking on 'Moose Head Lake' we met a few nice people and saw some ice fishermen in small houses pulled by trucks right onto the lake! Walking on the lake in the snow was our highlight.
