Stayed at Fish Creek Campground a bit late in the season so the trees were starting to change colour, it was beautiful! The highlight of my stay was the camp host, Larry, and the artist colony! Larry and his dog, Canyon, came to greet me and answer any questions I had about the park my first evening. He also offered me a map, though the lovely young lady who checked me in made sure I had a map also. Every staff member I met was wonderful! The washrooms were clean and well stocked, and the showers were free, hot and clean! I can’t wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay here, we loved the very clean bathrooms and free showers! The park was very clean too. We got a spot by the lake thinking we'd be able to hangout at the shore but it's very weedy, mucky and rocky. The boat launch dock and the beach at the core area are the only nice places by the water. There was also a ton of black flies, like thousands. It was crazy. Also, there was hardly any signage for it, but there is tons of poison ivy around the campsites , especially on the trails that go down to the shore - be careful! I definitely recommend driving to the trail head of 'Birch Forest Trail' it was a beautiful and easy little nature walk with lots to see. We enjoyed our stay here overall.

It has been several years since we have been here. We stayed in Fisher Creek, the camping spots are well treed, with lots of free firewood. We also have electric bikes and enjoy touring around the park and the town. It is too bad the water slide park siting in decay, it was an excellent place back in its day.
