Located in the town of Sonora, this facility provides a no-frills environment for RVers looking for proximity to urban conveniences and outdoor adventure. The area is characterized by rolling hills and historic architecture that reflects the region’s 19th-century mining heritage. For nature enthusiasts, the fairgrounds are a manageable drive from the entrance of Yosemite National Park and the recreational waters of New Melones Lake.

The R.V. manager here is the rudest person. We used to stay here all the time when we travel but he seems to judge people off the year of their r.v no matter how nice it is. Everytime I would look out my window he was standing somewhere near staring in my window.... I've honestly never been treated so badly by an r.v host. I watched him do this to other people as well as myself. I tried speaking with the office manager because Everytime I would talk to him he would bring up my husband's disability, she was also rude an older lady, how someone like him works for the county I'm not really sure. My next visit to Sonora i will be making other arrangements, which suck this is the closest to town...

Nice fair experience. All the nice things you would expect at a county fair. Not much drunkeness or rowdyness which was good. A fair amount of security and police present. Very nice atmosphere overall.
