Very nice campground and gated community. We used as a jump off point for our visit to the Pocono Mountain area. Our site H32 was spacious and basically level. All utilities were readily available. It was late September so the pool was closed but it did look very nice.

The campsite itself was generally nice, but the experience left a lot to be desired. The sites are packed very close together, so there’s not much privacy or breathing room. If you’re looking for a place to relax and maybe enjoy some fun in the evenings, this is definitely not it. There are absolutely no late-night activities allowed, and lights-out is enforced really early. On top of that, the owner, “Debbie Downer,” made it difficult to enjoy ourselves. She constantly came over to complain about the type of music we were playing — even during the day — saying it was too loud. That put a damper on the vibe and made it hard to even get into the mood for their so-called “disco night,” which only lasted from 8:30 to 9:00 pm. By 10 pm, everything had to be shut down. Overall, it felt more like being babysat than camping. If you’re looking for total quiet, this might be your spot. But if you’re hoping for any kind of fun or social atmosphere, I’d recommend looking elsewhere

We recently camped at Mt Pocono and the theme was New Years. There were many festivities and we were welcomed when we joined in. We talked with the owner, Deb, and she was very friendly. Another day during our stay we visited the office and Ava and Hope were very friendly and most helpful. The campground is well maintained and the pool is fantastic. We can't wait to return!!

My family and I loved this campsite! So much that we extended it and stayed an extra night. It is very clean no mosquitoes nice pool and clean bath and restrooms! The store is so convenient they have everything you could possibly need at good affordable prices. The rec room is so nice with a gym setup on the 2nd floor, we didn’t get it to use but maybe next time! I appreciated the laundry room which was also clean. All staff working there were so nice and pleasant with us! Don’t listen to the bad reviews they just don’t like to follow rules. Every place has rules they’re put in place for a reason. From check in to check out we were treated with respect and kindness! I love that the owner cares so much for her campground because it definitely shows, this place is immaculate! We will definitely be coming back for another camp weekend. Thank you to all staff at Mount Pocono Campground.

I wanted to share some feedback from my recent stay. As someone who has visited numerous campgrounds over the years, I was surprised by a few things during our visit, and I thought it would be important to bring them to your attention. First, I noticed that the several staff members were quite young. While I understand that young people often work in these types of roles, I was a bit concerned by the way they were handling some situations. For instance, I observed a few instances where golf carts were being driven at unsafe speeds, which struck me as a potential safety risk, especially in an area with families and children. Additionally, I saw a youth riding on the side edge of a dark red pickup truck, which seemed equally unsafe. It was particularly striking because, during our check in orientation, we were given a lengthy talk about not removing dead branches from the ground, which I appreciate for safety and environmental reasons. Yet, the behaviors I witnessed seemed to contradict the attention to safety and responsibility that the camp is trying to instill. Another thing that caught my attention was the atmosphere in the office store. Each time my wife and I walked in, the staff members were either on their phones or chatting with other teenagers. While I understand that camp staff can have downtime, it was a little unsettling to see such a lack of professionalism in what is clearly a customer-facing environment. My wife and I joked that it felt like we were interacting more with teenagers running the campground than with a team that was properly managing a business. The straw that broke the camels back for us was when we went to get an adult beverage from snack area at the pool. Our alcoholic beverage was served to us by a young girl that was no older than 13 or 14 years old. How is that possibly legal? We have always enjoyed our camping trips, but this particular experience was different for us. We wanted to share this feedback in the hopes that it can be addressed, so future guests have a safer and more professional experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.
