Big park, multiple pull thru sites, friendly staff, level spots. I would recommend if you are looking for a place in the area. Wifi can be spotty if the park is full, if you are someone working from home, I would recommend having a backup. Locations prefect, not a lot of traffic noise.

Kyle and his wife were incredible campground hosts — warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to truly disconnect and escape from the outside world, this is it. It’s a bit of a drive to get anywhere, but that’s exactly what makes it special. We felt completely secluded in our own little mountain paradise. The property is spacious with plenty to explore. Between the nearby Mennonite communities, the beautiful waterfalls, and the endless stars at night, this place felt peaceful and grounding. An amazing place to let your dogs run and play. The closest town, Sparta, is worth the trip — it has a fantastic downtown coffee shop and a pizza place that blew us away. The coffee was exceptional, and the pizza and wings were to die for. Pro tip: order the orange zest wings — you won’t regret it. Just a few tips before you go: • Bring cash for the Mennonite shops. • Expect limited cell service — consider it part of the charm. • The nearest store is about a 20–30 minute drive, so stock up ahead of time. • Follow Apple Maps using Highway 111 — do not take the backroad it sometimes suggests; we made that mistake and got stuck! All in all, this campground was a solid 9 out of 10 — peaceful, private, and perfect for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy nature the way it was meant to be.

Wow, just wow. What a beautiful piece of country. Great place to call home for a few days. My dogs and I loved the fresh air, manicured lawns, people, pull through rv sites and the peace. What a fun location to so much nature too. One day we went to explore the near by waterfalls. I'd happily come back and visit this location.

This place was perfectly located about 15 min from the state park. The price of $15 for a tent was awesome as well. Very pretty campground! Just be sure to keep cash around this area as a lot of things, businesses are ran by Amish, which to me was a very big plus and my daughter loved to see the horses and carriages roaming around.

Mountain Glen is a beautiful campground. Exceptionally well maintained. Owner was very friendly and accommodating despite my late arrival. There is a catch and release pond and a beautiful cascade. The bathrooms are individual showers with toilet and sinks. There are laundry facilities and a lounge with TV, treadmill, and games.

We really enjoyed our time at Mountain Glen RV Park and Retreat. The facilities are in great condition and very clean. We loved walking around the pond. Just over the walking bridge is a beautiful spot to sit and watch the babbling brook. We really enjoyed the beauty, quiet, serene and peaceful nature of this place - it was definitely a positive upbeat experience - decompressing from the ills of the world. They even have a spa room. All of the staff are super friendly folks making sure we had a pleasant stay. The clean mountain air, beautiful stars and the calming sounds of the wildlife have made this our new favorite RV Park. Also, all the gorgeous day trips for seeing some TN history, hiking and viewing some stunning waterfalls are just a short drive away. Only 15 minutes from scenic Fall Creek Falls State Park. And of course, there's the Mennonite Community just down the road. Hand made furniture, general supplies, and food... yum.

Mountain Glen RV Park has always been one of our favorite places to stay. It is a very peaceful, family, and pet freindly campground. It is only 15 minutes from Fall Creek Falls state park. There are many outdoor games available to play, and they also have an indoor game room with a TV for rainy days. They have a realy nice lake to fish (catch and release) and nice trails to hike. The bath house is the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. There are 5 individual rooms with a shower, toilet, and sink in each. Now with a new owner and new management they are improving an already great campground. They have plans to redo the campground, by reducing the # of sites, and making the sites more spacious. They have also added a spa room, which includes a salt room, saunas, and a massage chair. My wife and daughter had a session in the salt room and sauna and were so relaxed from them they had the best night of sleep they have had in a long time. I used the massage chair and would recommend it to everyone. The new staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to help with any needs that come up. I give them 5 stars and would recommend this campsite to everyone.

Under new ownership & management. Off the grid location & very peaceful. Nicely landscaped & beautifully maintained. Nice lake & walking trails. Wifi was good enough for streaming, only 4 TV channels. Management has big plans & has already started with improvements. Great place for adults to relax. Campground is in a Mennonite community, wonderful food & crafts. Will return.

We are new campers with a new travel trailer and this was such a great first experience for us. The owners and managers are so helpful and friendly, and made sure our first set-up and trip was enjoyable. This campground is just lovely. There is a large pond with turtles, birds and small wildlife. We enjoyed walking the well-mowed trails at sunset and looking back at the beautiful camp. The grounds are kept extremely clean and tidy. There are strict rules for cleaning up after your pets, which we were happy about. We didn't step-in or see any other pet's poop as we walked our dog. The bathrooms (each with private toilet, shower and sink) were spotless, as was the laundry room. The complimentary WI-fi was strong and we were able to make calls and stream entertainment on our TV. We also loved the fact that we could buy sandwiches, flowers and a few food supplies at the local Mennonite community. Please be careful when driving to and from the campground, as the Mennonites have horse & buggies and bikes on the curving roads near the campground, and sweet children playing. And DO read the campground's directions and not veer off on your own with your camper. The discouraged way has multiple hairpin turns (I counted maybe 5), and the owner instructs against it. One day I drove with my car down the mountain that way, and it was tight in a car. Listen to the campground's driving instructions for your camper. We will definitely be visiting again!
