Overview
Mountain Lake Marina & Campground offers a scenic getaway on the pristine shores of Norris Lake. This destination combines the rugged beauty of East Tennessee with the convenience of a full-service marina and resort environment. Location & Surroundings
Nestled in the rolling hills of Rocky Top, TN, the park occupies a prime spot on a quiet cove. The surrounding landscape is defined by the massive Norris Lake, known for its deep, clear blue water and over 800 miles of shoreline. Guests are treated to lush forest views and direct water access, making the park feel secluded despite its convenient proximity to Interstate 75. The local topography provides a classic Appalachian backdrop that creates a peaceful environment throughout the camping season.
Amenities & Park Features
The campground provides well-maintained RV sites with full hookups to accommodate a variety of rig sizes and power needs. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing dip in the seasonal swimming pool or grab a meal at the on-site restaurant, which overlooks the docks. Practical needs are handled by the clean bathhouse, laundry facilities, and a general store stocked with camping essentials and snacks.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of activities just minutes from the campground. The park is a short drive from Norris Dam State Park, where hiking trails and historical landmarks provide a glimpse into the region's past. For those seeking motorized adventure, the nearby Windrock Park offers world-class off-road trails for ATVs and side-by-sides. Additionally, the Museum of Appalachia provides a cultural experience, while the city of Knoxville is close enough for a day trip to explore urban shopping and dining.

We rented the Hawk 3 townhouse and would not recommend. The condo is in a very inconvenient location, you cannot walk to other properties and the boat slip access does not have parking near it. Bath towels and bed pillows were not included. It was not a comfortable stay. The company/owners were not helpful or understanding after our stay. For the price, there are many other options in a better location with more amenities.

It’s nice and new on the inside. Clean. Live music. Waited over an hour for our food before we got up and left. If you have the time- stop in and eat. The ice cream was good, still took a while to get service .

We usually go there for gas in our pontoon, and we sometimes have lunch or ice cream. It's improved quite a bit since the first time I visited. It's in a good location on Norris lake, not far from both Twin Cove boat dock and Norris Dam Marina. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't leave a review. I live in Jacksboro TN so I've been around Norris lake since the 70's. It's one reason I retired and moved back here!
