There is plenty of camper spaces available for use! Electric and water hook-ups are on each site, plus a picnic table and fire ring are included at each site too! If you don't have a camper or don't want to tent camp, they also have small cabins for rent as well. We love the campground and return every year!!

Very central location for a lot of historical and interesting places. By East Coast standards the sites are average, meaning no separation between sites, neighbors sewer hookup right by your picnic area. Staff was very friendly and nice, but... Located close to a rifle range so you hear guns all day, showers never got warm for us during our 4-day stay, sewer pipes were uphill from my RV Connection, so make sure to bring a slinky and even then you will probably have to manually manipulate the hose. They should not advertise Wi-Fi, I was maybe 60 yards from the office where they say it works best and was unable to stream anything. There was a sewer rupture in the playground while we were there, forcing them to close the playground. The water was also undrinkable According to some fine print upon check-in. Laundry room utilizes a specific app that you have to download and put a minimum of $20 on. If you don't have 20 bucks worth of laundry I'm not sure what you do. Also the laundry machines were not working and no one on site had any idea how to address that, so I spent 45 minutes on the phone figuring out how to get my washer and dryer going because they had some sort of system glitch. 80 to 90% of the occupants are either seasonal or full-timers. Big Halloween festivities which was awesome for the kids, golf cart parade, dance, food, games. If you have little ones it's probably great. Dog run is very small, not much to walk to except for through the manufactured home park and Campground, no trails. Pricing is better than most in the area, but services reflect that savings.

We love this campground! We have been multiple times this year due the close proximity and fun campground. The pool is great! Perfect kiddie pool for toddlers! The snack shack is wonderful! The sites are nice and level. We always have a good time at this campground!

My family any I stayed at Mountain Spring for the first weekend in October ($70/night). Pros: It was easy to get to, about 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain, no problems with parking the camper, the site was level, full hookup, just enough grass for our dog. Didn't have much interaction with staff, but they seemed nice. Cons: The place was packed. We were in row F. The sites on the other side of our road were seasonal. Most are all gravel, little to no grass. Pull through spots were so close some awnings were inches from the back of their neighbor's camper. It almost felt like tailgating in a parking lot. If you're after peace and tranquility, this is not it. The grounds are clean, but not well maintained. For example, there is a pond, but it's nothing to look at and didn't seem healthy. Most of the arcade games and the pool table were broken. The store left a lot to be desired as well. We didn't see the draw other than how well they did Halloween. It was chock full of fun Halloween festivities. There was a live band that played 3 sets until 10:30 and the band was great... Which is good since we were right next to the pavilion.
