Mountain Valley RV Park

Nice and secluded, easy enough to get to but far enough out of town to be nice and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again with an RV. Fair price, easy to dump, plenty of space for the 35 foot RV we were in. Solid location without any of the nonsense.

Quality wise this matched most KOA's Price wise it was cheaper Very quiet at night Clean grounds, clean restrooms and friendly staff. Only odd thing was the restrooms being closed from like 10pm to 7am. Best Part was sitting along side of the runway and watching the planes take off and land.

Great small, simple campground. All sites are gravel/grass pull throughs that can handle bigger rigs easily. It is a bit overpriced for what you get, but not bad. It was quiet and pleasant for our one night stay. Perfect base camp for rail fanning the railroad.

Quiet park for one night or multiple nights. There is a sandwich shop at the airport a short walk away. Sites have water and electric hook-ups and there is a dump station next to the main building. The bathrooms and showers are a bit older but they are cleaned daily. There are 2 clothes washers and 2 clothes dryers. This is a 5 star for my purposes and since I have a cassette toilet. Others will likely give it less for lack of a sewer hook up and having to level up at the sites. It is quiet and this morning before sunrise I heard a Western Meadow Lark, Horned Lark, American Barn Owl, Lesser Goldfinch, House Finch, Killdeer. I have also seen a covey of California Quails, Red-winged blackbirds, Ravens, Crows, Greater Roadrunners, Red-tailed Hawks as well as the European Starlings and House Sparrow interlopers. I have heard coyotes at a distance in the early morning predawn hours. I have never heard them near the park. The staff ask that you along with your pets keep to the paved park perimeter road and off the grass between the park and the runway. All in all Mountain Valley RV Park is a sweet respite for a night or an extended stay.

Nice little RV park. Right next to an airfield with little planes flying above. Desk clerk warned about coyotes. Plenty of pull through spots for big and little rigs. Electric and water at sites. With a dump station on the property. My only complaint is the laundry machines you have to download an app and add at least $10 to an account. Just bring back coin operated machines

What a treasure! RV stop overnight. We loved the view from our chairs, sunrise/sunset on the golden hill side. Super quiet and dark at night. Bonus- adjacent to a glider port! We loved watching take off’s and landings. Wonderful cafe at the glider office with breakfasts big enough for two. Not super polished but makes up for it w charm and interesting things.

Quiet, small RV park. Outer sites have unobstructed view of the mountains. Perfect for sunset appreciation. Shower has handicap ♿️ bench and hand held shower headlights plenty of hit water. Door closes for complete privacy to stall.

The park is layed out nicely. All pull-through sites set diagonally. Easy!!! I didn't have to unhitch because I fit with room to spare my 27' trailer. Just what I was hoping for! The young woman at check-in was very nice.

Great one night stop. Easy on and off from freeway. Quiet setting at night, small planes at airport. Electric and water hookups, all 26 sites are pull through sites. Very clean. Highly recommend.

I hate to share this hidden gem. This is a quiet, rustic, clean/maintained park adjacent to a glider runway. Views of the mountains, shady on nearly all of the sites, with laundry, showers and restrooms. Although there is water and power only at the sites, there is a dump station. The airport FBO has a coffee shop that serves light meals that is an easy walk. The 4,000 ft elevation is great to get out of the heat from CA valley. Great place to springboard across the desert before noon (115°), into NV or AZ.

Great 1 night stop. On edge of glider airport, beautiful views! Not full hookups, dump station on site. But the weather and quiet was spectacular!

A nice enough park for one or two nights. We were just in for the night on our way traveling across the country. My only real complaint was that I was looking forward to a shower before hitting the road by 7am and got to the restroom at 6am only to discover it was locked and wouldn’t be open until 7:30!! I see I’m not the only one with this complaint in the reviews. It’s a simple remedy with a keypad and provide the code to campers that can be changed weekly…or have it unlocked at a reasonable hour (6am?) if they feel it necessary to have it locked overnight.

This place is clean, and very quiet! It's a trailer and rv campground at a glider port. It's pretty nice. Prices seem to be high at $46 a night. There is no weekly or monthly price It's just $46 a night. Showers and bathroom available and full hookups.

My bf and I needed a place to stay in our van and it was really easy to book a space online. We just rolled in at 11:30 to our spot. The only downside is the restrooms are closed from 10:30 pm-7:30 am so if you don’t have an RV well 😅 The woman at the front desk was really friendly. The restrooms were clean. The view was pretty. We would stay here again.
