One word: WOW! The view of the mountains, the vibrant foliage, and the distant howls of wolves was absolutely breathtaking. The scenery was so peaceful, and the campground host was incredibly welcoming. Thank you for making it feel like home away from home!

This place is absolutely the best place I have ever camped at. From the time that you arrive, your host will meet you and have all the paperwork ready. He explained all the nearby activities and the campground activities also. The host goes over and above the typical campground host, to make sure your stay is perfect. We will definitely be traveling back here to stay.

An amazing gem of a campground in the north Georgia Mountains. Close enough to town, but far enough out the stars are bright! Louis keeps the grounds pristine. Its one of the cleanest, quietest campgrounds we've had the pleasure of staying in. A photo opp of a squirrel with a pear in its mouth was a bonus!! Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic campground! We had an awesome week escaping to the mountains here. We will definitely be back. Louie the owner is a great person. Very personable, and goes above and beyond to make a great experience for all of his guests.

This was our first time staying at this campground, and we had a lovely experience overall. The owner, Louie, was very kind and welcoming. He even gave us a free sticker, which was such a nice surprise! We love collecting stickers from every campground we visit, and we were planning to buy one—so his gesture really meant a lot to us. We stayed at Site 11, which was very nice and had plenty of shade—perfect for us since we have two small pets. The site was clean and well-maintained, with beautiful mountain views all around. The only downside to our stay was a bit of an uncomfortable moment with the neighboring campers. As soon as we arrived, the couple next to us asked how long we were staying, and their attitude felt a little unwelcoming. It seemed like they weren’t too happy about having neighbors close by. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night, so it didn’t affect us too much. Overall, the campground itself is great—peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. We’d definitely consider coming back, hopefully with friendlier neighbors next time!

Can't believe they only received 4.9 stars. They should have 5+. Unbelievably quaint, small campground carved into the side of a hill. As soon as I pulled in, Louie greeted us and PJ had our packet right out before we could get out of the truck. He then helped us into our site . Unbelievable experience. Beautiful views and live music Saturday evening. We'll definitely be back.

We have been coast to coast in our RV and have never found as nice of hosts as the people at this gorgeous little campground. We had a great time!! The fenced in dog park was a great spot for our puppy to run. Kiddo loved the ping pong and we all appreciated the covered porch area. Great clean laundry and restrooms. Fun evening activities. Can’t wait to return!!

Mountain View Campground was a great find! We have frequented North Georgia many times over the years, but this was our first time at Mountain View. The grounds are well kept. You can tell the owners (PJ and Louie) really love what they do! They were so friendly and accommodating to us during our week long stay. The biggest plus is just how QUIET it is! This was a welcome change for us! We stayed at site 15, which gave a beautiful view of the mountains. Our kids enjoyed all of the activities available, including watching (and participating in) karaoke night. ;-) We will definitely stay at Mountain View again!
