Blindly booked the chalet as it was my first time on this side of the cost moose hunting in area 2. Wonderful location with great lodgings. Close to the side roads leading into the transmission lines for hunting. Right next to Portland Creek pond/river which looks to be great for fly fishing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Beautiful cabin, 2 min walk the the lakeside with an amazing view of the mountains. Seen salmon jumping in the river where there is a bench and picnic tables to sit and enjoy the views.

Advertised as pet friendly and free for pets , my wife phoned ahead to make sure they understood we had 2 dogs with us and they assured her it was alright . Ten minutes before we arrived after a very long drive we got a call and were informed they were going to charge us $40 per night extra for the 6 nights. We felt we had no choice since we had nowhere else to stay and couldn’t get on the ferry until a week later . It felt like extortion . Edit : they agreed to refund half but made it seem like it was our fault in spite of being made aware well ahead of time we had dogs .

We just spent the last 2 nights at this beautiful resort. The cabins were perfect and included everything you need. The resort is located right along a gorgeous Salmon River and a very large pond for all your fishing or swimming needs. There is a new playground on site for the kiddos and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for the perfect get away.

Cottage was super cozy and quiet. Not suitable for motorcycles. 1.5km of gravel road to get to office, then slopped extra loose gravel parking
