Wow! I'd be tempted to drive across the country again just to stay at this place. The owner and employees are super friendly and helpful, and they keep the place neat and clean--the laundry rooms and shower areas were nicer than some fancy hotels I've started at. Also, even the wildlife made us feel special--we met about 50 wild turkeys on a walk and saw more than a dozen deer. You'd never know this out-of-the-way place is only 30 minutes from Colorado Springs. Highly recommended!

We were disappointed with our stay. It's almost 20 miles away from the outer edges of the Springs. We couldn't get an Uber to the actual city. We were given a "premium" site. Unfortunately, the site was no where near level. We tried for an hour to level our rig, which has never happened before. There is no one in the office. The phone number I was given was a company in Texas. They called someone who came. We asked to move to another site. We were able to set up in no time at all at the new site. On multiple walks it was obvious numerous residents didn't pick up after their dog. We witnessed some one carrying a little bag while walking their dog. They set the bag down on the empty site next to ours and just walked away! On the plus side, the newly remodeled bathrooms/showers are beautiful and clean. The laundry room was excellent, even having an iron and ironing board! I just wish there was a camp host available on site.

We stayed a week at this park in April, 2024 and liked it so much we spent the winter there! We stayed from Oct to January and were treated exceptionally well. They set you up very well for the weather and we had no issues. My brother and wife stayed in a cabin and it was so nice and cozy for them. The park owner and all the staff, as well as the longer term residents are all very wonderful, helpful and just great folks. It's very likely we will winter there again, later this year. Just a beautiful place!

Excellent location. Abundant wildlife, usually see a turkey or a deer parade daily. Very well kept campground. All amenities you could ask for, & they're new or like new and clean. No riff raff, very friendly and helpful staff, & long term residents. Love this place! Been there 2x in 2024.

We stayed at Mountaindale RV Resort for 4 nights and we're so happy with our stay. It is a comfortable, safe, relaxing place. Tiffany in the office was so helpful and has a great personality. We used the hot tub to relax, the laundry room and the new shower rooms. I love how dog friendly this place is! Perfect place if you like to have your dogs and walking with them. If we travel through again, we will be staying. We were in a large motorhome and stayed at campsite #84. Woke up to deer eating outside our door and watched the wild turkeys cruise by.

This place has been truly amazing. I’ve been staying here since October 2021 and I am loving every minute of it. The staff and community treats each other like family. Feels like home. The location is perfect. Hiking trails up the mountain. Hot tub!! Cafe! Motorhomes for rent! Cabins! Propane for sale! I hope I never have to leave!! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I arrived at Mountaindale around the beginning of October. We’ve stayed at a few different campgrounds since we started the RV life and Mountaindale blows the rest of them out of the park. Everyone here is so friendly and the staff is extremely accommodating. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful and really gives you that off-grid, woodsy feel (with the exception of having great Wi-Fi). There’s a very nice laundry area on-site and the cafe is so cute with some delicious options on the menu (I personally love the pizza). Can’t forget to mention that they also have a hot tub! Can’t say enough things about how great this place is and I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Colorado Springs!

I wanted to visit my friend, his wife and daughter who had traveled from Maine down to Colorado in their RV. Since I was driving in from Texas, my friend suggested we stay at the same RV resort for convenience. I brought my mother along with me since she has never been to Colorado (and I could use the company while driving). We booked one of the cabins this park offers aside from typical RV spots. The park is lovely, clean and quiet, and the abundant natural beauty and wildlife means plenty to stare at and see. I got to hike up the mini mountain and saw deer and turkeys. I could go on about how clean the cabin was, how adequate the amenities were, or how nice they were to us - including giving us a last minute upgrade - but what really sealed the deal for us happened after we left. My mother had dropped one of her favorite earrings, a pearl surrounded by diamonds, and assumed she must have lost in somewhere along the way. It never occurred to her she lost it there. The RV park got in touch with our friends to find out if we had lost it and get it back to us. Now, if they had decided to keep it or sell it we would never have known, and I would still have left a great review (it really is nice there). But that extra little bit made a world of difference to a 74 year old lady and her son, and it needs to be openly congratulated. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a spot. My friends have stayed there before and say it is a real plus for anyone tugging along an RV so it was an easy decision for them to return. To me, they went the extra mile and that says a lot about how they must run their business. Thanks for a really memorable stay!

We love it here: larger sites, pretty landscaping, well maintained, very helpful staff who escort you to your site, small store with pizza and other goodies, shade, hiking, easy pull in and out. So kind and helpful when we were novices a few years ago. It's our go to get away from north Co Sp.

We stayed in the ‘Getaway Cabin.’ This is a really nice campground to stay at and the staff was very accommodating. The cabin amenities were nice. Most notably, big thanks go to Staff that run the on-site Cafe (retired 3/75 “Top”). We arrived to check in to our cabin after the Cafe closed and had no food with us. They opened up and cooked us 2 pizzas and 2 appetizers (1 they gave us free) so that we had something to eat for dinner. They didn’t have to do that since it was after the Cafe hours of 7pm but they really looked out for us. If I am back in the area I would definitely stay here again.
