We stayed here for about a year. The only thing we didn't like were the random water shut offs. We like the relaxed atmosphere, management, and cleanliness. We appreciate the storage on site and the understanding we received despite having to chase down our dog when he learned to open the door. The other long term guests were generally friendly and we felt safe here. This is the best park we have stayed in since we began full time rving and without a doubt we will go back if we ever end up near Jakson again.

Restrooms are relatively clean but sadly in need of repair. Example- peeling paint on the walls, not all showers work and NO HOT Water! No sign to let you know the status of the hot water anywhere. The front desk manager was pleasant until we inquired about the lack of hot water and then she became agitated and told us “to get out….I don’t want your money”. She was aware of the hot water heater not working and apparently hadn’t been for some time. My husband put some cash on the counter and left. We won’t be back. The positive side is that the sites are clean and level and full hook ups. If you’re looking for a safe, secure and well maintained place to stay for the night this isn’t the place for you.

Movietown RV Park is one of the best values ever for full hookups and pull-throughs we have seen. Plenty of room between sites and lots of places to walk your pets. Management is great to work with. It's located close to Jackson and the Natchez Trace Parkway. Canton is the city It's located in and called the movie capital of Mississippi. A large New Nissan plant is about two miles away. Cabins are also available here.

Nice park with pull through sites. We stayed one night and didn't use any of the facilities.

Perfect for the weary traveler. Large flat, level pull through sites. Quiet well maintained campground only a mile off of I55. Reasonable rates.

Friendly staff, wide lots with grassy area. Lots are long enough for 42' 5th wheel and tow. Some lots are slanted but we could get level. Would stay here again.

Great overnight stop. Large, level spots. The hook ups are toward the back, but we didn't have to unhook our small car (our RV is 43 feet long). Very nice lady when we called and checked in. $27 with our good sams discount. It was well worth it for us.

Movietown mini storage and the Movietown RV Park are both located at 109 Movietown Dr Canton, MS 39046. The storage buildings are separate and located on the left side of the office. On the right of the office, (attached to the same building) there is a laundry room for guest use. Also on the same side, are restroom/shower rooms) one for males one for females). Both have multiple stalls for restroom and also, multiple shower stalls. Outside to the right of there, Is a grassy area with play ground equipment for kids to enjoy. Past there is the entrance to the Cabin and RV area. The manager team keeps it well maintained. They are friendly and professional. They enforce quite time and speed limit rules to ensure everyone is able to enjoy a safe, peaceful stay. I love staying here. So grateful I found them in the summer of 2019. Still love it here!!!

First impressions do matter. The front office is cluttered and disheveled. It is also very small so even three people in there felt crowded (COVID anyone?) On the plus side, the lady who checked us in was very nice in person as well as on the phone. There is a WII FI hot spot but no internet access. We used the hot spots on our phones which was a little sketchy as Verizon was 4g 1-3 bars depending on where you were standing. Satellite should be okay as there are very few trees. Mostly long term renters but most were neat with a couple of odd exceptions.. All gravel roads and sites although they could use more. Spacing was ok with some grass in between sites. It could be messy if it has rained. We could not use the sewer as we couldn’t reach it even with two hoses. And we had to use all 25 feet of the electric cord. Not sure about other sites. There is some noise from interstate off in the distance. Quite a few early risers for work but not that intrusive. Very reasonably priced.

Ideal spot! Very up to date shower and restrooms spotless!! Laundry facilities amazing! Very nice people. Quiet all the time. Friendly fellow rvers, theres longterm camping short time, a playground, nice landscape well cared for, I backed my 30 ft pull behind into 143, had my own front yard and a dirt road to walk down and it was nice to open my front door and sit looking out. (Weve been in the city the past 18 mths) level spots no tables, electric water sewer hook ups, we couldnt get the offered wifi but with a antenna we picked up 26 channels that had clear pictures! Lots of great things about here, we have a Verizon cell phone and it doesnt have good cell reception. Wife has a straight talk with a tennesse number and hers is good all the time.about 2 miles from walmart. Gas and take out places. ,
