Had a lot of fun camping, great fishing. Camp ground attendant gave me some great fishing tips and things to do in the area.

Nice swimming beach. Campground is small and very noisy due to 24/7 boat ramp activity. Site 37 was basically in the parking lot.

We had an incredible stay at Horseshoe Cove Campground, thanks in large part to the two amazing camp hosts! They were beyond helpful, super friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You could tell they took pride in the campground, and it showed. The bathrooms were as clean as something you'd expect at the Hilton. They were spotless, well-stocked, and regularly maintained. Our campsite was also in perfect condition: level, tidy, and clearly well cared for. The lake is absolutely stunning! The water is crystal clear and so beautiful. It made for the perfect backdrop to a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Huge thanks to the hosts for making our trip so comfortable and stress-free. You don't always get this kind of care at campgrounds. Highly recommend staying here!

Very nice location. Campsites to the right as you enter are parallel parking on road, but road is very wide so no problem. There is potable water despite what recreation.gov says . Campsites to the left of entry road are closer together but reasonably large. There is a building with flush toilets in the middle of that loop--norhing fancy, pretty dark, and oldish. Swimming area is shallow a long ways out, great for kids when it is warm. Many were even enjoying it when we were there in June . Toilets clean enough. A great view of Mt Baker from a 15-minute walk or on the water.

NO REGRETS - one of the best places you can camp in peace and comfortable. Flush toilets are down due to winter damage but vault toilets are tidy and easily reached. Sites vary but you’ll almost always have a good buffer of privacy but even those that are ‘hugging’ areas are maintained and I can’t tell you how quiet it is! Lovely and great place to fish! Lot of success stories from those we say pulling to shore, it’s great to explore we found a lake swing and fun little pockets of views. CAUTION this is cougar and bear country as mentioned from our host some evidence of cougar presence was found on trails. Exercise no trace left behind etiquette!!!! Keep protection nearby, deer were hugging the area daily saw probably a dozen in the 4 day stay - enjoy nature here! Husband and I had a blast hiking and relaxing ***Firewood sold on site for $10 a bundle.
