It’s Always Beautiful in the Mountains No matter where you go, the mountains offer more than scenery—they offer sanctuary. There’s always something to see, something to feel, something to remember. Whether it’s the hush of pine needles underfoot, the shimmer of a creek, or the way the light dances across a ridge at dusk, the mountains remind us to breathe. Take the time. Step away from the noise. Let the altitude lift your spirit and the silence reset your rhythm. Whether you’re hiking, foraging, or simply watching clouds roll over the peaks, do yourself a favor: let the mountains work their quiet magic. Stress doesn’t stand a chance up here. And neither does regret.

The lake was very clean, and a perfect temperature for swimming in late August. There were alot of floating logs in the lake that you can swim/float out to that you can stand on, which is really fun. There were alot of bugs, so bring bug spray. The water from all of the potable water faucets tasted metallic and not good. The pit toilets smelled horrible and ran out of toilet paper the first day we were there. There are no sinks, no where to wash your hands or dishes. Our campsite 046 was really close to other campsites and didn't have a ton of privacy, but other campsites looked better.

We had so much fun at Baker Lake. The water was warmer than expected in August. It was nice to have no cell service. No power and water had a "well water" taste to it (probably iron). Campsites are well spaced and there were many trees for shade.

Love this campground! We went in August and there were lots of bugs, so bring all your bug proofing equipment! There was no data service and no showers on the premises. Great location to Concrete for a "quick" drive into town to get any materials forgotten.

Our main issue was that the dirt road into the campground has no speed limit, and the campsites on the east side are covered in dust from the non-stop speeding vehicles that are only 30 feet away. To make it worse, we were woken up dozens of times each night because trucks pulling boats were coming into and leaving the campground to launch their boats throughout the night. Literally all night. The lake is totally swimmable and was honestly warmer than the air temp. Bring your own firewood if you can as the small bundles for sale are $20 each.

Beautiful paradise on earth. Traveled many locations and this Campground is amazing. Host was great, spots were clean.

Beautiful river and its so fun funding Baker Blues. Hard to beat the scenery of this volcano and it's terrain. Mosquitoes are abundant in the summer but nonexistant in the winter.

Always love our trip here, 2 or 3 times a year.

Excellent campground, but the spaces are a little close. This wasn’t a problem though- everyone was friendly. Great camp hosts- they were so nice and helpful. Fun swimming area (rocky entry so water shoes would’ve been nice). Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Excellent access to the hiking trails nearby.
