Great camp host! Bathrooms are spotless. Water is available. There is a nice hiking/biking trail around the lake.

Hoodview Campground is a well maintained campground on the Southern end of Timothy Lake. The 11.5 mile Timothy Lake trail goes around the entire lake and is accessible from the campground. There is a boat launch and dock here making it easy to access the lake. Timothy lake is a no wake lake so paddle boarding and other non motorized boats can enjoy the lake. The lake is also stocked with trout making for some great fishing with Mt Hood as a backdrop. The bathrooms (pit toilets) are well maintained and clean.

Had a lovely experience at this campground - very nice hosts always available for our needs! I don't think I've ever seen a campground bathroom be cleaned so often - huge perk, since I have a small child and a clean bathroom is a huge luxury while camping. We can't wait to come back!

This used to be a 5 star for me and my favorite place on Timothy Lake. My experience Wednesday morning with the PGE Park camp hosts was rude and downright hostile. Until PGE addresses my complaint, I can no longer recommend. Which is a shame because it's been my favorite place on this planet for over fifteen years. The pictures show why. But being rushed out of my camp spot before checkout time and then rushed out of the campground even though I explained the policy was unclear and actively harassed while trying to leave has really ruined my experience and on my birthday nonetheless.

Truly the rudest and most unprofessional camp host I’ve ever met (Linda and Rich). On Sunday morning we went to the lake after spending Friday and Saturday night at the campground. After our reservation was up, we moved our cars and went back to the lake to hang out for a little longer. She had mentioned something about us not being able to park there, so we didn’t realize we weren’t “allowed” to hang out by the lake at the campground after our reservation was up. Linda walks up to us yelling and screaming that “we made her mad” and that we “have to get out NOW.” After some more yelling, we finally got her to leave us alone as we started packing up to leave. We would have been civil and compliant about it had she not screamed at us like children. After leaving to get our cars, she came back and yelled at my friends some more while they were waiting for us to come back with our vehicles (maybe 10 minutes later). Honestly the worst campground experience we’ve ever had, and if she had just been slightly nicer we would have been fine with leaving and I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. But Linda, you gotta find a new job. Camp hosts shouldn’t be that mean. The campground is nice and clean, regardless of the terrible camp hosts.

Very friendly staff and a great view of Mt. Hood! There are a few spots however that are on a slope so when renting keep this in mind. The lake is definitely family friendly as well with many shallow spots. The water temperature was amazing.

Campground has best view of Mt Hood. New hike in sites are nice.

A beautiful and spacious campground, Timothy lake is big, and warm for large parts of the year. This campground is right on the water, ideal for swimming and other waters ports. 10 MPH boat limit means almost no motorboat noise.

Great campground with an enchanting view of hood. Easy access to the lake from all campgrounds. Be advised that you can still hear traffic from the road. Additionally, hoodview had the cleanest bathrooms of any campsite i have ever stayed.
