If I could give just 5 stars for the management I would. The manager is so kind, solves problems, the park is soooo clean. She tried to her best to keeps us by the playground since we have a small child. She is very welcoming and for her alone, she has made it the best rv park we have stayed in. Our family cried as we had to leave the access to the train tracks and river is awesome to walk the dogs. The cost of laundry is great and the machines are always SOOOOO clean. For the owners, you should allow fires and if long term guests have to leave due to work and have been there over 3 months, I definitely think its fair to give them a prorated refund. And put some speed bumps in around the playground areas! What a lovely park

First time visitors. We were looking for a quick overnight stop to break up a long travel day and booked one night at Mt Princeton, without knowing much about the site or city. The campsites are very well maintained. Pads are gravel, but they groom the gravel after each customer departs. Our site was quite level. Utilities worked as expected and we didn’t try the WiFi. Campground was quiet. The only con is they are quite close together. The city of Buena Vista was very nice. Very walkable and lots of restaurant options.

As a longtime RVer, this park is the best there is. Jenny and her team make you feel like family, are happy to share their BV knowledge and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay in the area the best it can be. Wonderful sites, very clean facilities, reasonable laundry and hiking trail out the back is wonderful. Plenty of dog waste stations and the dog park is a great size. The cabins offer a great place to stay if you don’t have an RV. If you want the 14ers, you want Mt Princeton RV Park.

This RV campground is fabulous! My husband and I are experiencing a peaceful and quiet stay, surrounded by wonderful views. The campground's convenient location near groceries and restaurants enhances our stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a review I'm hesitant to write because I don't want to ruin a good thing... purely selfishly. :) But you should know.... this place is a hidden gem, for countless reasons. You'll be 2 minutes from everything you need in town at affordable prices, and somehow simultaneously out in the middle-of-nowhere nature. It's not a wormhole. It's just that the park is nestled at the food of hills and mountains separated from a lively town by about a half-mile stretch of 55mph highway that seems to transport you to and from exactly where you want to be, to exactly what you need. Convenience factor plus nature surroundings combo is next-level. The park is not even on the highway! It's literal perfection. From management to the crew who works tirelessly maintaining and beautifying the property and RV spots, everyone is amazingly friendly and welcoming and simultaneously so respectful of privacy. They anticipate needs before you do and yet manage to be not overbearing or helicoptering in any way. The way the place is run is simply phenomenal. They hit all the right notes and not one too many to make it feel like a private escape into gorgeous surroundings. Not only are all the RV spaces wonderfully spacious (we've never had a larger RV space) but the park is so big and well kept, yet not pretentious, it often feels like you're alone in the mountains. The clubhouse is spotless. The bathrooms are pristine. The showers are spotless. The (many) washers and dryers are amazingly well-placed for efficient laundry, and of course are also spotless or even "like-new" condition. They're fast and efficient for fewer quarters, if that matters to you! If you run or ride there's a trail out the back of the park to epic running and riding trails. If you like DH riding, you're next to Vitamin B, a world-class DH run you didn't know you needed to know about. There are pro DH MTB teams here occasionally. If you like tamer green runs, or climby blues suited for the XC MTBer who likes to pedal, you can either ride into town from the park out the back gate on dead quiet roads, or jump in the car for a 3 minute drive to free parking for endless epic MTB'ing, trail running, hiking, galore. The views are unbeatable. We just ride there because it's so close. Check Trailforks! If you hike, you're central to so much and SO much closer to amenities than in Leadville. Wealthy? Shop at LaGrees Food Store. Amazing produce and generally more upscale shopping. Or just save the money and go to City Market anyway, because it's equally awesome. Short of money? Shop weekly at City Market and use their app (Kroger). Get your veggies at LaGrees from their discount $1 bags. They're amazing deals (and this is coming from a Walmart economy/budget shopping connoisseur with scarcity issues! haha) The best part: Both stores are 3 minutes from your site! The only thing I was initially put off by was needing to get mail elsewhere but I stand corrected! Let me tell you, it's the best RV park mail setup we've ever had and so cheap that it barely matters. I am over-the-moon satisfied with it even though money is very tight right now. (we're millennial working snowbirds here for the summer months) "Mailboxes" is the name of the place to get your mail while you're here. They know every single person on a first-name basis, notify you of packages, and offer holding/forwarding for dirt cheap and absolutely perfect reliability. If you've RV'd for long, mail reliability is something you're tired of wondering about. I think it was like $11/month or something. It's a literal 1 minute drive from the RV park and it's a professional concierge mail service. Can't beat it. It's saved me time compared to getting mail at other RV parks even though I need to get in my truck and buzz down the road. They're crazy efficient so if you'd rather spend your time either in nature or working, it's an absolute no-brainer. It's actually a pleasure to pick up mail. Can you imagine that for a second?? LOL I could not have until I experienced Mailboxes.

Fabulous RV campground! My husband and I always come to BV during the summer! This is our first stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. Wonderful views! The only thing that was disappointing was the showers. My husband uses the restroom/facilities when we RV/camp. He did not bring any change/coins to utilize the showers. Bring quarters to use the showers. Other than that, it was fabulous! We are looking forward our next visit!!

We wanted to stay in Buena Vista to go to the hot springs. I am so glad we picked Mt Princeton RV park. Jennie at the office was super nice and helpful. The park is super clean and quiet. The mountains surrounding Bewnie, as the locals call it, are beautiful. The rain clouds flow down the mountain and crated an awesome sight.

Very convenient access to Buena Vista riding our bicycles. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and kept the place spotless. The empty sites were raked every morning and the park just looked great. The no noise policy was so refreshing. It was great not having multiple campsites sharing their music. Laundry was very nice! Not the tired old broken down machines we see at many parks (I took parts off broken machines to get dryers running at a differing park and provided them a list of parts they needed and they were offended). Great experience all around!

This park was so relaxing. Great location for hiking trails and the town is close by for groceries. There's a nice trail along the railroad tracks for dog walking. My dog leads me to the gate every morning! Very friendly and helpful. I will be back!

The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. The showers are warm, and laundry is available on site. I love the puzzles in the clubhouse! More than all that, the people running the park are amazing, beautiful people. After trying other RV Parks in the Buena Vista area, this RV park is the one that makes me want to come back.

The owners here are great! In the summer they have many events and things to do for those that stay with them. There is a clubhouse along with laundry showers and restrooms available. They don't have just RV parking either they also have cabins and park models available which is great if you don't have an RV. Wonderful views of the mountains. And it's nice and quiet at night so you can see the stars

This place is truly a gem! Very clean and the lady at the office was so awesome! She gave us some great advice on places to see and mapped it out for us. We will definitely visit here again. Definitely worth staying!

All the rooms were booked in town but luckily this place had a cabin available. Look like one of those tiny houses. It had everything I could need on the inside. The owner was extremely accommodating for me. Excellent WiFi. Everyone staying there was friendly and polite.

This is the second time we’ve been here, it was the absolute, most comfortable, place both times. Everyone here is so friendly, the lot is very nice, quiet, and homey. The main building has washers and dryers, showers (you do have to pay for showers), bathrooms, and a nice sitting area. It’s very well kept/cleaned. My favorite touch was that they put out puzzles for you to do while your laundry is finishing up. In the end, I love this place, and will be looking forward to coming here again.
