This place is really quiet and clean. The people in the camp ground are very friendly! Pet friendly and stores are pretty close if you do need to pick up things you may need or forgot. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will be back for sure

Loved our time at MTN Fun! We'd stayed here before back in 2014, and returned in 2025 again. It was just as good as we remembered! Cam was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our trip, and went out of his way to accomodate us. The kids loved it, and we loved how close it is to the Alice Lake trail network. It felt peaceful in the trees, and the amenities were super clean and well looked after. I wish NZ did campsites this well!!! We'll be back :)

Returned to MTN fun basecamp after a few years, what was already a 5 star experience had simply gotten better! two nice new trails connecting the campground to the squamish MTB trails! super clean washrooms and showers, with awesome staff, helping anything we needed. stayed in a camper and it was great, super quiet and good vibes on the campground. Brad and Cam rock!!

Avoid MTN Fun Basecamp at All Costs! We choose to book this site with our friends because my friends tried it last year. However, it's horrible stay when we come last month. This was by far the worst camping experience I've ever had—and I've been to a lot of campsites. First off, the staff are extremely rude and totally dishonest. They lie all the time and try to remove honest comment from online platform and just keep those with best comments. Don’t ever trust them. They make up fake reasons to charge your card without your permission or any proof. If you're thinking of giving them your credit card info for booking—DON’T. That’s how they get you. The place is a total mess. Garbage is piled up everywhere, attracting rats and even bears at night. It's loud, chaotic, and not at all safe, especially if you're traveling with kids or want a peaceful stay. The restrooms were disgusting—filthy floors, overflowing trash, and no hand soap the entire 3 days I was there. Clearly, nobody is maintaining this place. There are no staff around most of the time, and when you do manage to find someone, they either ignore you or try to twist policies just to hit you with more fees. And if you're booking with a group or reserving more than one campsite? Big mistake. They’ll find every excuse to overcharge you or cancel your reservation last minute, claiming some vague “policy violation.” Save yourself the frustration, money, and potential health hazard. This place is a scam, not a campsite. Never coming back.
