Great park clean bathroom well kept. Atv accessible hundreds of miles of Atv trails from the park. Lake Superior access in the park. Camping along Muskallonge lake. Sites right on the water.

Great beach for rock hunting! Great views and the rangers at the campground were extremely helpful in my many questions as there is zero service up there and my trucks uses google maps for directions (minor oversite on my planning)! There is adequate parking, clean and has a out house on top of hill.

We had a lovely time - this stop was beautiful. We enjoyed looking for rocks just for fun. There’s plenty of parking and it’s a great area for a nice walk. We enjoyed the beach as well. The sunset was gorgeous! Glad we stopped.

We came for a hike, first time here. If you are looking for camping, this is a great place! However, if you are coming for hiking, you have to venture quite a ways from the park to get away from infrastructure, noise, and debris. The park is uniquely situated between Muskallonge lake and Lake Superior, it is a beautiful area. The park also is amidst the North Country National Scenic Trail, the hiking route of the Iron Belle Trail, and the Lake Superior East Water Trail. So plenty of good hiking, just not the loop around the campground.

Review for the campsite (we had tents not an RV). The campsites on site 2 are big enough for 2-3 mid-sized tents. There is water on the site, very clean toilets and showers. Personnel I didn't interact with much, but we needed to check in close to 11PM and they had no issues with it. The camp was also super quiet, after 9PM you could barely hear anyone. One thing that sucked was the road closure to the west - we had to take a detour to get to Picture Rock so it took almost two hours to get there. Of course not the camp's fault though. Recommend that if you can avoid the campsites next to the the toilets to avoid foot traffic.
