.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Mathis, TX! I can’t say enough good things about Mustang Hollow Campground. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful vibe, friendly folks, and beautiful scenery made us feel right at home. The cabins are clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The grounds are full of charm—with animals like peacocks, goats, and even baby horses adding a special touch. The pool was a huge hit on those hot Texas days, and the campfire spots at night? Perfect for making memories. Whether you’re looking for a family trip, a quiet weekend, or a place to reconnect with nature, this is it. The staff treats you like family and the whole place just gives off good energy. Already planning my next stay—highly recommend!

Campground needs TLC—Fine place to stop on the way through and very friendly staff. There is a little zoo with miniature donkeys and horses, goats and emus! This was a wonderful treat feeding the critters. Sites are small, dirt and uneven. Pictures show a playground, dog park, etc., however, none of these things exist. It looks like they did at one point, but not in the last decade. No atvs or activities listed on website which was frustrating for the kids. Lake was entirely dry-of course no fault of the campground, but didn't allow for fishing, etc. There were plenty of sites available but we were placed right by the train tracks and main highway. I do understand why, though, because there are quite a few permanent folks toward the back of the park.

We loved our waterfront site on Lake Corpus Christi. Only 30 amps power at the water. Includes petting zoo with ponies, sheep, goats. Good store, pizza service , pool table. Shout-out to Steve for great service. We’ll stay again

We stayed for 3 weeks. Park is on the lake. Very nice staff. We liked being able to stop by the office and order pizza and wings before going to the camper. Lots of long term residents, but everyone was nice. We enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay, after reading some on the reviews we were kind of worried. When we showed up everything went smooth. One of the workers led us to our spot he was very nice. Everyone that we spoke to in the office/store was very helpful. One of our plugs didn't work and they called someone to go down to fix it. He got there very quickly and was very helpful. We will be back.

The young lady at the front desk with dark hair and the long nails was extremely rude & unprofessional multiple times. She was constantly giving a bad attitude every time we went in. We also lost power & water multiple times during our weekend stay. The campground is fun with lots to do, just watch out for rude workers.
