We rode out on the equestrain parking lot. Beautiful trails. Word of caution. ATV's, bikes, dogs share the trails.

Very cool forest to explore that goes deep. Seriously, bring a map with you because it's easy to get lost here.

TYLERS RESELLING JOURNEY
I stayed here last night with a few friends for a birthday camping trip. Everything started out great—we were just trying to relax, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. But sometime between 4:40 and 5:30 a.m., things took a terrifying turn. We suddenly heard what sounded like around 50 people singing in unison on their knees. This wasn’t normal singing—this was eerie, almost like something straight out of a horror movie. None of us had ever heard anything like it before. We sat completely silent for nearly 20 minutes, listening. When one of my friends stepped out of the tent to use the restroom, the singing instantly stopped, and whoever they were began flashing lights at our tent. We were absolutely horrified. With no cell service and no idea what was going on, we felt trapped. For about 10 minutes after, everything was completely silent. I decided to grab the friend I had brought and drive home immediately. Later, the three friends who stayed behind called me to say the singing had started again—this time even closer to their tent. This forest already has a dark history—multiple murders have happened here if you look it up—and after this experience, I can see why. Something was off. This wasn’t normal. It felt like we were being watched. To make matters worse, there’s supposedly security or someone who checks guests in. But when I arrived, no one stopped me or asked questions; I just drove straight to the site. That means anyone could come in at any time. It felt completely unsafe and unprotected

Spent the day at a campsite with family today. Pond felt refreshing. Lots of new rules here. Their strict. Bathrooms aren't clean like other campgrounds.

I have been to this state park many of times this is my last time. Park is beautiful but the staff is ugly. They would NOT allow me and my family to camp due to rules that aren't enforced on their website when making the reservation. The lady was very rude, gave extreme amount of attitude from the moment I walked through the door. I walked into check in and this lady tells us " you need to step out so I can help this man " there was someone already in there so I said ok that's fine. Didn't know we are still going covid restrictions but ok! We waited our turn to check in. It was finally our turn I get in tell her information and she looks at my reservation. Straight from this lady mouth " I can't let you guys stay you clearly can't read it's on our website". They won't let us stay because there were three adults and one child and that's what I had made my reservation for. So if it's a "rule " you guys enforce when you get to the park maybe you should fix it so people don't have deal with your rude ass staff. My four year son was very upset he couldn't go camping he expressed to me he even feel the lady was mean. it was already 4 pm and I had drove three hours to the park. Ask her if there's motel or hotel close to here she replied " not my concern " I had asked for my refund and she started to accuse me of talking to her rude I told her better customer service would go a long way. But now I had to deal with my four year crying in the backseat no where to go in the middle of nowhere . Last time they are getting my money. The irrigation of some people.

Who authorized them to take this land and charge money for other humans to visit it? Nobody ever seems to question their authority. It is the ultimate audacity yet we sit by and say nothing. We even pay these pagans to come and spend time on our own land. Luckily we have a loving God whose endless forgiveness is beyond our wildest imagination because the disappointments to Him are never ending.

This was a horrible experience! I highly do not recommend!! Especially because of the awful customer service. Mainly the rude lady at the front desk. I booked a site and I went to enter the park and the front counter lady immediately told me to leave and go home, while I had a site currently rented there already! She would not let me in or listen to me. So then after calling management over the manager he was also rude but he did finally let me in, considering I was staying there and already paid for my site! Never had such a rude and bad experience when camping ever. Also the camp site had a very loud water pump tank for the cranberry bogs going on and off the whole time which was very unenjoyable and loud. I go camping often and this is the worst place I’ve been to by far.

Really nice wooded hiking trails with ample parking! We loved our walk through the woods mostly on the Bentley loop. There were several small maps posted on the trail, but there were many splits in the trail without clear signage. We were able to get to the edge of two nice ponds, one with a little beach of skipping rocks. Overall this was a fantastic place to visit in October once the bugs died down.

I’ve stayed in D2 with my friends in a group camping area and we’ve had a very good experience. It was close the Charge Pond. The camping site was big and enough for us (around 15 people). It was close to the restroom !! There was a small trail (2 min walk) to there and the showers were amazing and the toilets always had toilet papers. We will definitely come back !

One of the best places to camp with family, friends and your pet/s! Our family has been camping here for 6 years and love everything this state forest has to offer. Many walking/biking trails, ponds you can swim, fish, canoe and kayak at. The park has sites for all kinds of groups, large group sites, smaller family sites, sites for people who have horses and sites for people who want to bring their campers/trailers/pop-ups and they have a few limited yurts (they book fast).

Beautiful forest, lot of random cops running around with their lights on. Very strange. Only one really good trail around the lake by headquarters.

Great Boy Scout camp. The park has many bike and hiking areas. Pack your lunch, bring a drink and enjoy the day.
