We stayed in Cabin 03. Overall, the cabin itself was nice, but we did experience several issues during our stay. Saturday morning, the can opener didn’t work, although they did promptly bring us a brand-new one, which we appreciated. However, when we tried to cook breakfast, the stove wouldn’t heat properly. We ended up throwing our eggs away because they wouldn’t cook. Maintenance did arrive about 20 minutes later and explained that the stove knobs are reversed. On most stoves, “1” would be low, but on this stove, “1” is actually high. There is no clear temperature control labeling, which made it very confusing. The heat in the cabin also wouldn’t kick on, even though it was set at 70 degrees and it was 40 degrees outside. We were told you have to turn it up to 80 or 90 for it to come on. Additionally, when looking up into the stove vent, it appeared dirty. I felt like I had to cover the food while cooking because I was concerned debris might fall into it. The cabin was nice overall, but the appliances definitely need to be upgraded, especially the stove. Because of these issues, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This KOA did not tell us before we got there that they no longer provide cable or wifi. The laundry facility was nasty, the trash was overflowing, and the lint traps were full, the washing machines were covered in dog hair and coach roaches. We stayed at a deluxe spot 120/night the spot was not clean or maintained. Unsupervised children running and screaming thru our campsite at all hours of the day and particularly at night. The security is nonexistent. I found that some of the staff was very invasive, rude and vindictive. We have been to a few KOAs, and had a really good time. However, this one was the worst. If you can afford it avoid this place. There are several campgrounds in the area to chose from. We moved to a resort style campground that was expensive. However, it was a few miles away and so far its been OUTSTANDING!!

These things are totally subjective to a person's beliefs and what they're world view is. I'd normally give 5 stars anytime I've ever stayed at KOA. Its always clean the staff is always great their pool, splash pad and bounce pillow thing, nightly programs are great and we've enjoyed all of their things they do for the campers and we've been many times over the course of 20 years its our family go to; but the last 2 times were near and in October. The Halloween decor was over the top. I don't celebrate this holiday and I know most do but my goodness. I will camp somewhere else during this time of year from now on.

Best campground we visited on our weeks long trip. Say hello to Paige in the office as she is super friendly and helpful! Great site, quiet surroundings yet walking distance to all things Myrtle Beach!

Don’t expect a modern & clean KOA Campground. We found it lacking in many things. Both showers and bathrooms stink like mold and have not been updated in decades. No shower curtains so the floor gets wet. Lawns are in terrible shape. Pool & hot tub are closed in winter. Same with the pool restaurant. Our wood picnic table was broken, splintered and had rotted so badly there were mushrooms growing out of it. We paid $85 in November when this whole area is actually in off season.

We’ve been going for years..loved it..HOWEVER, the older lady that does guard shack sometimes with the gray hair does not have a good personality. So many people said they wouldn’t go back because of her attitude. Also, $100 trailer fee..when it will fit on your campsite..is ridiculous! We love everything else, though!

Had a wonderful time glamping at this KOA resort this weekend, Had a cabin with a bathroom very conveniently located also rented a golf cart which was tons of fun We got to decorate the cart and cabin for Halloween. The staff was amazing at registration and all through the weekend with all the children's activities they put on They really worked very very hard all day into the evening. Kudos to the activity employees. My cabin was fully stocked and clean and we had wonderful family time with all the Halloween activities they had for the children and the Halloween carnival was awesome and the haunted hayride the free lunch at the carnival was a nice touch. We will make this an annual family vacation I look forward to next year. Great job KOA We all had a blast Thank you.

A great campground! Great sites and amenities. In the woods, but close to everything. We rented one of the golf carts and went all over Myrtle Beach. Had a blast. Nice , clean bathhouse, too! People in charge are so helpful and friendly. Love it!

This place is wonderful for the entire family. It's literally five minutes from the ocean and untouched by all the commercialism. The pools are great and the splash pad seems fun. The bounce area is terrific. We stayed in a rustic cabin. That's exactly what it was too. Rustic, no TV, no electronics yet still a small fridge and microwave. It was great! We will definitely be back.

Excellent location, great sites with loads of shade, well stocked store although prices are a tad high but you pay for convenience, the shuttle to the beach is excellent, bathhouses are good, lots of things for kids to do and a nice size pool. The only thing I would do is either replace the very broken ping pong table or remove it all together. Staff was friendly and helpful. Campground was very clean and well maintained!

came here easter weekend with my family and also brought my two pups along!! we loved staying here!! it’s very quiet for a large campground and it’s shaded by trees so you’re not constantly in the sun!! and they’re also pet friendly, the dog park that’s located in the campground was awesome and my pups loved it!! will definitely stay here again!!

Wow! Just wow! This is the nicest campground we’ve ever been to and we’ve been to a lot of campgrounds around the US. It’s very close to the beach and shops. I have nothing negative to say. The staff is so friendly. The facilities are top notch. If you’re wanting to “rough it” this isn’t the place. This is truly a resort for someone that has a camper or tent.

We really enjoy staying here at the KOA. We had a small issue on a very busy weekend. Dawn took the time to make sure we were taken care of and satisfied with our stay. The manager wasted no time getting with us to apologize and to make sure we were satisfied. Those two women definitely went above and beyond to resolve our issue. I wish you could be greeted with a smile and treated the way we were everywhere you go. Thank you KOA and all your wonderful employees for an amazing weekend.

Came down for run to the sun car show. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the cabins are clean and we'll equipped, the grounds are well kept. Had an issue with my truck while here and Bert one of the staff offered to help me with a missing bolt. Super nice folks, definitely stay here again.
