Cannot wait to go back! This is an incredible camp/RV destination. We stayed in a tent and loved every minute. Clean campsites and fire pits. While yes it is outdated in some aspects that other reviews mention, BUT you are camping in the Redwoods!! So fricken cool to be able to do that! Bathrooms were clean and the staff are so welcoming! Great stay with kids

Cozy, quiet, and so beautiful! We absolutely loved our stay at Mystic Forest in our camper! Maya and Patrick were such kind great hosts, we loved chatting with them, and they worked with our group when one of our party's vehicles had issues and they weren't able to arrive on time! They have a little store on site, flush toilets, showers, laundry, wifi, and full hookups! There is an easy beautiful trail that goes around the campground, some areas for kids to play including a little mini golf course and game room! Highly recommend staying here, its the perfect spot to visit so many of the surrounding locations with the benefit of being out in the redwoods!

I would love to be able to give this RV park a better rating, but honestly, it’s only getting 3 stars because the owners are so wonderfully nice. Basically, this park was built in the 60’s or 70’s and doesn’t look like it has been updated any since then. The game room and the bath houses are terribly run down and only have one shower in each that stays very occupied. (There is an additional non-functioning shower in each that I think they’re working on, maybe.) The toilets and showers are kept reasonably clean, and the toilets never run out of paper. There was good, hot water with plenty of water pressure in both the men’s and women’s showers. The bathrooms themselves, though, are more consistent with what you might find when you were a kid at a sleepaway camp. Fire rings provided at each camp site. Grass sites, fairly level. Grass needed mowing, but I honestly didn’t mind that because it had beautiful little yellow wildflowers in it. There was a cafe just down the road within walking distance, but it was always closed. (As an FYI for those who like food w/in walking distance.) The camp shop DID have a great selection of snacks and souvenirs and good coffee and pastries in the mornings.

This is one of the most beautiful campsites we have ever stayed in. It is very cozy and authentic, it does not feel man made at all and the nature is so beautiful. The owner, Patrick, is a nice guy. He told us the story of how he and his wife bought the place, such a cool story! The bathrooms and showers are clean. The coffee is good too.

We only stayed for one night in an rv site but it was great. Patrick was so very kind and helpful- answered questions before and during arrival. Location is great for exploring Redwoods. Very quaint. Restroom was being repaired but still very clean. Highly recommend! Thank you for your kindness and expertise.

We stayed in the Little Foot trailer, a perfect couples trailer, although it works if you have 2 kids. The trailer has bunk beds. The park is small, the RV and tent sites are large. Clean restrooms and a laundry facility are available. Patrick is the nicest host/owner. We're looking forward to coming back with our RV.

We had an incredible family vacation camping at Mystic Forest. Patrick and Maya were communicative and responsive throughout the lead-up to our arrival, not to mention warm and helpful throughout our stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained, with its own small hiking path through the woods. It's hard to beat the location - easy drives to the old growth at Jedediah Smithnand Prairie Creek State Parks (plus Fern Canyon), close enough to Crescent City to get groceries easily, but far enough that you can enjoy camping in the woods. This is definitely our new spot in the Redwoods! We will be back.

Beautiful little park! Big dog park, close to area attractions and don’t miss the cinnamon rolls at the Historic Requa Inn just down the road towards Klamath. Also, a beautiful scenic point just past the inn/restaurant. WiFi in the park is excellent but no cell service with our T-Mobile. Used WiFi calling. Staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Patrick and Maya are the sweetest kindest people on the planet. We’ve stayed here twice now, and every time we are in the area, we will be back again! The spots are incredible, and it’s super close to everything you’d want to see in the Redwoods. We have a pup and he adores the dog run they’ve set up. The really gem of this place is the owners though! They truly care so deeply about the campground and about every single person that passes through. We cannot wait to go back :)

I can't begin to tell you how great our stay was. Very friendly atmosphere, Patrick the owner is always available for questions. We were pleasantly surprised to find cabins and tent sites along with the trails in the Redwoods. Laundry, game room, miniature golf, dog run play area for kids. This was very quiet, with a gift shop and store for some needed items.

We Tent camped here for two nights. Patrick checked us in and him, and his wife are fantastic. The showers are hot, bathrooms are clean, and laundry is available on site. They also have a game room where you can plug in in charge of electronics if needed. You are one minute from tree of mystery. I recommend doing some of the other amazing hikes near the area. Patrick gave us some great recommendations for hikes in the redwoods. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a week and had a fantastic stay! Patrick and Maya were great hosts and had a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, from hikes to local attractions to try. They even worked with us when our flight was delayed and we couldn’t check in during normal hours! We stayed in the Tall Trees cabin and it was cozy and clean. The gift shop also had a great selection and a mini coffee shop! Overall, the vibe here was a throwback to simpler times with friendly people and beautiful views. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area!

Patrick and Maya were fantastic hosts! The campground truly felt like a home away from home. They went out of their way to be sure that our stay was exceptional and even worked with us when we arrived late for check in. The Tall Pines cabin was very clean and had all of the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Maya makes delicious coffee and the gift shop prices are great. The grounds were well maintained and the trails were nice. We enjoyed the unique experience that this small, individually owned campground provided. Our experience was A+

We absolutely loved our visit to theRedwoods and Mystic Forest RV Park was wonderful! The owners- Patrick and Maya - are so sweet and helpful! We loved the quietness and the large dog park area. We also loved walking the trail and looking for Banana Slugs. They have a nice game room. It was nice to have the option of getting the laundry room to yourself. It would be nice if they had a few more showers and toilets (2 of each in each gender’s bathroom) for such a large campground. But the wait wasn’t too bad. This is a gem of a place and makes the perfect base camp for exploring the Redwoods.
