We needed space for a few families to stay and hang out, in McBride specifically, otherwise we would have never stumbled across this place. For the first 24 hours of our stay we didn't see anyone else, the office was closed during check in hours, which was kind of bizarre. The cabins were nice! They were roomy enough, the beds were very comfortable. Some of the amenities were a little rough around the edges, our stove temperature couldn't be turned down, most of the window screens were broken, one person in our party fell on the pavement when the picnic table they tried to sit at crumpled underneath them. But for a quick trip, with a cozy rustic feeling, our stay was better than expected.

We were here for a family reunion that was booked a year in advance (it was central for all travelers coming from north and southern BC and those from Alberta). They were not prepared for us. Rushing to clean the rabbit poop and dust from the gazebo and frantically mowing the lawn around the designated firepit while we were setting up our trailer. Their website says full hookups, water and sewer, however, only some had those services and some looked like they had water and power but neither worked and still charged us $189 for 3 nights (2 adults 2kids). There were also no trees for majority of the sites. Some family stayed in the cabins and they looked decent. I did not use the showers or bathroom but I heard there was no hot water. The playground is falling apart. There were a lot of goats that kept getting free and kids could ride their bikes around the loop as long as they avoided the big semi and concrete trucks. Would I stay here again? Nope!

Lovely spot, we are in the area for work. Staying in an RV spot here, there's all kinds of animals on site. The goats run around sometimes and came over to say hello to my husband while he was outside one evening he enjoyed that, I'd say! The scenery and fresh air are awesome. Spots are quite large which is good. Quiet for the most part but as it's right off the highway you do hear some traffic noise. There's laundry on site which is convenient for us. Mcbride is only 10 mins give or take from here. Would recommend this place if you wanted an out of town place to stay.

I had my room that I paid for given away to someone else over at the Sandman in McBride - avoid this place if possible. I was lucky enough to reach the owner of NV Mountainview late at night and she was most pleasant and said she would be waiting for me. How nice to have a person so willing to wait up until midnight to help get me a great cabin! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Super quiet and very clean cabin. Looks to be two size options. Just off the highway, few mins east of McBride. Fire pit on a stand outside each unit, accompanied by a table and chairs. Inside boasts a comfy king size bed, deep jet tub, and stocked kitchenette with full size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, table and chairs. Owner and Staff are welcomeing and friendly. Price is more than fair for the privacy and accommodations provided. Would recommend if you're in the area.
