Although we only stayed 1 night, this was a great stop on our trip. My husband is in a wheelchair and we had reserved the accessible site. However, when we arrived we realized we were a touch too big to fit comfortably in that spot. Everyone from the ladies at the desk to Eddie and the crew were flexible and helpful in finding us a site that worked for us. The campsite was very nice, clean, with well-maintained sites. All around was a great spot with really great people!

This was a beautiful campsite and the people who work there were absolutely amazing! The place was very clean everything was taken care of we were close by to a lot of things and they include a lot of different fun activities that you can do there. They even have a fun scavenger hunt that your kids can do and win a prize! The staff was the best part I would say! We were there for one week to visit family so we didn't spend too much time at the site but the time we were there was wonderful.

There's a lot to pack in, so buckle up! This is a large campground with lots of spots. It has pull through, back in, cabins, raised pad tent camping (to help avoid gators). It also has small park style campers permanently installed on standard sized campsites. They have firepits, picnic tables, 2 dog parks, 2 outdoor covered pavilions, and 1 that has an activity room indoors. Sites are gravel based and level. 50/30/20 Amp service (on most sites), good water pressure too. Daily trash pickup and a very attentive and friendly staff. These folks do a great job at keeping the site looking good! A modest, but well stocked store as well. They have a very nice pool, have rental carts for the kiddos, and also do propane fills near the front. The back end has boat trailer storage, a ramp, and the pics reflect that. In the fall, the snowbirds return, and it fills up quickly. The staff were very good at announcing camp events, and they held a small remembrance for our fallen troops today (Memorial day)

We just left this campground and wanted to comment on the manager for this location. Unfortunately my wife did not get her name. We ran into an issue with maintenance at the campground that was going to impact our brief vacation. My wife (Scarlett) contacted the front office who quickly had the manager reach out to us. Despite my wife's obvious frustration, the manager remained calm and courteous, and she offered a resolution that was more than satisfactory. While this property still has a couple of things to work on, this particular manager provided excellent customer service. We hope to come back and try again sometime.

We really wanted to give this KOA 5 stars, but the mosquito problem made our stay pretty challenging. That said, I understand this is likely due to the location and not something easily controlled by management. The excellent staff made after hours check in easy and were very warm and kind the next morning. Despite that, this was probably one of my kids’ favorite stops on our road trip! The pool was absolutely beautiful—temperature controlled, and the hot tub was actually hot, which we loved. My kids spent nearly 3 hours swimming and didn’t want to get out. Unfortunately, even while submerged, we were surrounded by mosquitoes—at one point I got 15 bites on my face alone. I ended up just swatting them nonstop. The bathrooms were clean, and our cabin was generally comfortable. However, there was a small crack at the bottom of the door, which we covered to help keep the mosquitoes out. All in all, it’s a lovely campground with great amenities, but come prepared for bugs—lots of them.
