Loved this free campground along the trail. Very clean flush restrooms. Nicely paved camping spots, many pull through.

Very quiet and clean campground. Camp host Ramie was so nice in giving us wonderful directions and recommendations. No showers available, and not all water fountains work but there are bathrooms, fire rings, picnic tables, trash cans, and potable water. This is very nice considering the camp ground is free. We saw some yellow jackets but they didn't bother us personally. Ground was perfect for tent camping under a tree canopy of beautiful stars. The scenery of the campground is pretty. Would recommend.

Great place to relax and great trails. Close to many state parks and waterfalls.

Very nice, free, campground located on the Natchez Trace. Clean bathrooms and potable water for cyclists.

Really nice campground and it's free, first come first serve. No electric hookups, clean restrooms, nice easy hiking areas to enjoy and the Meriwether monument was neat. Definitely going to go back, was nice and quiet when we went, not a lot to do in the area though. Has picnic tables and a fire pit with a grill on each campsite.

This is dry camping at its finest. Paved sites, nice bath houses with flush toilets and potable water (not at the sites). Note, there is no dump station here so manage your tanks. Nice sites nestled in the trees and very quiet. We stayed for a week and will absolutely return. Did I mention they are free for up to 14 days!

Nice and peaceful. Lots of wildlife. They do well at keeping it clean and don't bother you much at all. I'd recommend it anyytime

Have stayed there twice for a few days. There are no hookups for RVs but they have a bathroom. They also provide fire rings and tables at each site. There is water in front of the bathroom for filling the fresh water tank. No dump stations in the area. Doing a google map search the closest dump station is about an hour away. Verizon cell service works for calls and text messages but is spotty for Internet. At times I couldn’t get access to my weather app. This seems to be a great campground to get away and have peace and quiet. Both times I’ve been there had no problem finding a site. I also like that they keep up the park. Cleaning the bathroom and picking up trash every day. Highly recommend especially if you just want to primitive camp or have a generator and decent size holding tanks for an RV.

Very clean, spacious. There is a leash law when your dog is on site or while walking them. The Rangers will tell you to tie up your pet. No generators between 10pm - 6am. Rangers are doing a great job. The store is closed, museum is open. Loaded with yellow jackets this time of year.

NPS first come first serve free camping at its best. Large, clean, well-maintained sites in the woods. Staff take obvious pride in providing a good experience for guests. Our neighbors were exceptionally courteous about generators and being quiet so we all could enjoy the solitude.
