We were on the lake after Labor Day...great! But, if we had a neighbor on the side our awnings would overlapped. Driving way back to the rest of the park made us thankful for the placement.

Nice park with LOTS of hills to walk, and if you don't have a vehicle or golf cart and they put you in Phase 2, THERE'S absolutely nothing else for adults to do besides WALK!! There are 2 or 3 nicely paved roads, the rest are so rutted w/pot holes, a person can easily twist or break an ankle. There's NO laundry in phase 2 and Phase 1 where closest laundry is about 1.7 miles away w/2 big hills to climb; I walked 34 miles in a week...nothing else to do!!!

This is my first time coming here and i went with some friends that are regulars here. the whole place is beautiful and i love how warm and welcoming it is. only bad thing i have to say it the algae was nasty at the lake, and the roads caught me off guard because of the potholes. but with the lake algae, i had to leave to go to the pool instead which was so nice and clean. the cabins are so really nice considering how huge and packed this place can get. love it so much. 9/10 !!

We’ve camped in our camper here several times over the last few months and have had a great experience every time! Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Betty, the other main office lady (I wish I could remember her name), and the young Gibson girl are all wonderful—so kind and welcoming. Josh, the maintenance guy, is also very friendly and kind. The pool is fantastic, and we love the game room, the lake, bingo, and all the other activities they offer. Our family looks forward to every trip here and we can’t wait to come back and stay for a whole week at the end of July!

Older lady at the front is SO rude!! My significant others mom has a membership here, we told her she was on her way and asked to see if his name was on the membership, after that she acted like doing HER JOB was such a pain! Great place but I don’t know how someone could be so upset and annoyed at people who were just confused about a PARK.

Nice campground very popular. A lot of full time residents. The lake/river is right there. Thr activity center is nice. There were not many people there at all. Small playground. The place is quite full.

The location is very pretty. But there are two big hills to get to the sites and very few are full hookups. And 50 amp. The cell service is not great either which is more location than the campground.

Came here expecting a lot only to be let down quite a bit. We stayed at a lot of thousand trails in Texas and really enjoyed them. This park has next to no cell service, outdated facilities and terrible roads. Oh and you're at least an hour from anything worth going to. Total let down. We'd rather stay at the state parks that are close to it.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! This place has nothing to do with Natchez trace. They feed off of the park and just use the name. Place will let horses and other wild animals stay in the campground next to the camper. Not to mention it’s first come first serve. Don’t let them tell you you can get a spot you want such as a water front site. If you get there for your site that will likely have put someone else in that site. Came to the gate that was already open and watched the woman inside as I was about to wave at her and drive through let the gate down into my truck intentionally then deny that she had anything to do with it. Worst place ever I will not return. Also if your camper is over 11 tall you’ll have to plan your route as you are unable to get under thr bridges at the trace.

The surrounding area is beautiful, especially now with the fall colors. Our problem was that there really weren't any trails to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We wanted to get pictures of the fall colors reflecting off of the water but there wasn't any public access to the lake. The water spaces seemed to be all taken by permanent residents as were most of the sights with sewer. We ended up leaving after two days.
