All but one of the sites 56-68 were taken by the time we got to the area on a Saturday in July during COVID. This is to be expected. We did get lucky because the site we found #61 would have been occupied had the tree with the number not of fallen down. The number was behind the weeds and tall grass and seems not to have been used in awhile because the path was overgrown. We made the path wider after the fallen tree. The site was in great condition. Nice dirt floor with a fire ring. The place has a great view. The river at this spot has a perfect place to swim. No mud. People need to learn to bury their toilet paper though. You'll find that lots of people just go in the woods and don't bother to bury it.

Well maintained for primitive camp sites. Some have privies. Look out for poison ivy though
