Deep in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, at the intersection of history, culture and natural beauty, you'll find the Natural Bridge KOA. Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountain ranges and surrounded by over 58,000 acres of National Forest, we have anything your adventurous heart desires.

The magnitude and beauty of the Natural Bridge State Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, compels many visitors to come to the area. Surveyed by a young George Washington and once owned by Thomas Jefferson, the Bridge provides a unique, historic, picturesque and natural experience.

Lexington, just 8 miles north of the campground, has recently netted a big share of tourist interest as one of the best small towns in America. With its rich historical background and an entire downtown that is listed on the State and National register of Historic Places, Lexington has much to offer visitors year-round.

Back at the KOA, you can relax in a quiet, wooded, rural setting, nestled in the foothills of the valley. We have a swimming pool, game room and a well-stocked convenience store & gift shop. With planned activities most in-season Saturdays and every holiday, visitors of all ages are sure to have mountains of fun!

We stayed in a cabin and it was very comfortable. Multiple rooms, nice bathroom, and even a fridge and a freezer. Unfortunately there were many stink bugs up in the loft but we tried taking care of them as best we could. The Halloween activities were fun and everyone who is at the campsite is very kind.

The staff was very helpful, the location was beautiful and the cabin was a typical camping cabin, which we love. The reason for the lower score was the sites were stacked on top of each other which takes away from the camping experience. There was no room to really hang out and we felt guilty using our Bluetooth speaker because everyone was so close to each other so we just didn't listen to music this trip. Everything about this place we liked except for no room and that alone is a big enough deal that we wouldn't go back. For those not bothered by that it's a nice campground with a ton to do in the area.

We stayed for 5 days in a newer FHU pull through site with patio, fire pit, grill, and furniture. The sites are clean, roomy, and level, with fresh landscaping. We even had a view of mountains across the valley. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We felt special. Nice bonus is Natural Bridge State Park is only 4 miles away. Easy access to the campground from I81. There is some noise being close to the highway.

Easily close and accessible to the interstate but not noisy. The site we stayed on, 114, was extremely nice. Enjoyed a place to walk my dog up through the woods. Enjoyed the chickens & goats. Will definitely stay again if passing through. Probably the best KOA I’ve ever stayed at.

We LOVE this KOA, it is easy off/on Rte 81. The staff is always fantastic and very helpful. We use the premium pull through sites, 50am FHU, concrete pad. It comes with propane grill and a round picnic table and chairs. We have stayed here 5 days once, and now use it about 8 times a year for heading south or coming back north from our southern trips. We stay hooked up with jeep, and love the easy in and out through campground. We have never had a traffic noise issue from the highway, you drive in about a half mile before the sites start. We have stayed here through all seasons. Grounds are always being maintained.
