The prices are fare. They are helpful and the park has a place for the kids, you can picnic and pur your boat down in the lake.

I have been staying here for going on 5 months now. Just a really nice place if you aren't looking to be in the middle of town and prefer a bit more quiet. There is a municipal airport in sight, a Navy base very close by and a rail line also not far so there can be a bit of noise from time to time. The couple that operates this place is wonderful! They offer a free laundry room, free bath house and no cost electricity hook-ups! 3 Very large "ponds" pretty much small lakes to fish in and more than enough space to stretch your legs. They also host events like weddings in the main office.

I’m military and this was the worst experience camping. The Navy base should not recommend this campground when they are full. Me and my family were harassed by two different people on two different occasions in front of my kids. They have a gate that is not locked and they can’t keep up with who suppose to be camping. Wasn’t a welcoming experience! The local campers will approach you very unprofessional. I had a local camper and the lawn keeper approach us.

Mostly monthly rental sites. Dog ran all over all night off leash barking and disturbing those "camping" if that's what you call this. Our site looks at the bath house (literally right out our door....3 steps).. we camp with 2 small dogs that remain on leash and are kept quiet. Very disruptive and obnoxious. Ran the dog off multiple times after he hiked his leg on me and my female dog.....RIDICULOUS. tried contacting office but the closed at 2P.M and were unavailable. No camp host on site could be found

Woods, hills, lakes, and peacefulness. We've spent time here on several trips with the camper. Some sites are tricky to back-in to, but worth the effort to find uncrowded woodland charm. The area is a boaters and fisherman's favorite with a mix of urban and rural countryside surrounding the camp. Military and affiliates only.
