Sites were mostly sand with a little gravel. We sunk quite a bit during our stay and had to continually adjust our level especially after it rained. The sites had a lot of tall weeds and grass and ticks were definitely an issue throughout our stay. Lastly, the water smells and tastes like a cast iron pan. We have orange stains in our shower and toilet. The owners were friendly. It would be a good place for a short weekend stay, but we would not choose to stay here again.

This place is special. It is a gem of a place to stay! Each campsite is spacious to park a camper and a car trailer and sis’s/atv’s. Each campsite has full hookups that are easy to get to. There is a fire ring and picnic tables provided at each site. The people that are seasonal camping, were very nice, along with the weekenders as they trickled in. We encouraged some friends to stay here on a separate weekend. They have raved about it, since their stay. We will be back for another long weekend.
