Nice big park, friendly people and close enough to town! Showers are clean and serviced daily. There's two dog parks (one for big dogs, one for small), and staff empties trash cans regularly. Pool and playground available along with fishing (catch and release pond) and river fishing from the dock. No idea if pool is heated.

Amazing stay! The staff was very accommodating, and I was able to check in after hours with no issues. My cabin and the campground were clean and well-kept, with fresh linens and amenities provided. I loved the holiday decor and the beautiful view of the river. I’ll definitely be coming back!

KOA New Bern is hands-down one of our favorite campgrounds and a repeat destination for our family. We love bringing our camper and appreciate the variety of site options and the ability to upgrade—it makes every stay feel personalized and comfortable. They go above and beyond to create an action-packed day full of fun for kids and adults alike. We also love coordinating our trips with downtown New Bern events—it’s the best of both worlds! I stayed there a week in one of the small cabins and it was wonderful. They are really cozy and well maintained. The staff was very wonderful as well. Everyday around 3am they send out a text about firewood which they deliver to you. Doesn't get any more convenient than that. I will definitely be going back.

This was our first time staying at this location and we loved it. We came camping with our son and his family (they've been here before), and they enjoyed it so much they wanted us to go with them. Everything about the weekend was great. The only disappointment for us was we didn't catch very many fish in either pond. The kids really wanted to catch something so it was a bit of a let down. However, we will most definitely be back sometime. Staying in the cabins was perfect for us.

Other than it being cold and super windy this place was great. The bathroom over by site 19 was the best I've seen in awhile. It's small with its own heater and a/c. Really helps when it's cold out and you can turn on the heater so you don't freeze when you get out of the shower. Had alot of fun with the kids fishing in the pond also.

Great campground. Well run and very clean. Sites are level and we needed no leveling at all. Bath houses are convenient and clean as well. Most sites are fairly large but some are tight which makes it tough for an awning. There is plenty to do for kids as well. The boat rentals were not available during our stay but there was fishing and site seeing. New Bern is a great town for site seeing and food as well. All in all a great stay and we would definitely come back.

My family and I recently had an excellent stay at this wonderful campground! This campground is beautifully situated on the river and has plenty to offer the whole family. We stayed on a patio site and it was a great site and plenty big. The site had patio furniture, a gas grill, light post, and of course full hook-ups. The staff were all super friendly and professional and all would take the time to speak to you. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed our stay. When you're visiting New Bern or the surrounding area you can't go wrong here. We'll be back!

This KOA is undoubtedly one of our favorite places to stay. We have stayed several time and the addition of Robin and Dave as managers make this even more special. We have stayed several times over the years and had the opportunity to get to know them. Arriving yesterday to see that she had replaced pat (who's shoes are hard to fill) was a great choice by the owners. They are so kind, so nice and want to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The entire place seemed to be revitalized with their spirit. congratulations and I can not wait to go back!

I stayed here during the week for almost three different weeks while I was waiting for my house to close during their off season. The cabins were so comfortable and cozy. They had everything we needed to be a family and cook our own meals. We were tired of staying in hotels and eating out and this place felt so much more like home. My 2 year old loved the swings outside and the view of the river at sunset was a joy. The campground was very clean and the people who worked up front were very professional and accommodating, but also so kind and hospitable. Throughout the tough time we had trying to get the house to close, this place was a silver lining and I will recommend it to friends and family.
