Stopped here on our Motorbikes hoping we wouldn't have to set up a tent in the rain. Managed to get ourselves a nice little cottage. Yes they are old But they are cheaper then most, they are in good shape, very comfortable, was quiet, has a nice little kitchen and good hot water. Definitely recommend if you are pulling a trailer, tenting or need a small cottage to spend a couple nights.

I stayed in an non-renovated cabin, and unfortunately felt as though I needed to wash all my clothing immediately after coming home (after all, no matter how much you clean an old, dingy space it still feels old and dingy). However, the new hosts are absolutely lovely people and are trying their best to get each cottage renovated. Pros: -Linens smelled freshly washed and bed was amazingly comfy and clean -Shower was hot and high pressure -The grounds were stunning and very well maintained -Communal BBQ & fire pit area was a plus -Free little library in check-in office -Hosts were very friendly & helpful Cons: -Nothing was particularly visibly dirty, yet the space felt worn and dirty if that makes sense. I did not sit on the sofa, as it looked like something picked up in a back alley. The verdict: I am sure camping or staying in a renovated cottage would be a 5-star experience, and I will give that a try in the future.

If you’re coming with RV - it’s fine. The cottages are old and smell very bad, like old people’ house. No barbecue outside and only one fire pit far away from the cottages, no private fire pit. And the one they have is just for a fire, no grill to cook on. Bring your chairs. TV in the room but no idea who watches a TV while camping. Kitchen has lots of very old pots and pans and cutlery, no salt/pepper/oil so bring it with you. We didn’t like staying there.

The bathroom and showers were also super clean and FREE AS WELL AS FREE FIRE WOOD WITH YOUR STAY. Definitely will be stopping here again in the future . Pull through sites with nice picnic table and fire pit. Great customer service, Kelly let us choose our preferred camp site (14) with a West Sunset exposure. We had a great stay, nice quiet campground. We really liked the clean, new washrooms and showers, we would recommend this place.
