Harley riders beware!!! They don’t want you here. Manager Josh could care less about a severe issue we had regarding parking rules. I had even called ahead and made sure our setup was good to go. The young girl on the phone assured me we were within the length limits and were clear to book the site on my phone. Their mobile site, which I used, had not been updated to the new rules that the regular site has. I explained all this to Josh and he told me he doesn’t care, it’s his GM’s problem. The nice lady who checked us in was mortified by Josh’s behavior and she went in the back crying. Never have I been treated like that before. They kept our entire 6 nights worth of money and we had to leave within 60 minutes or they would take my bike and trailer. The site behind us reeked of dog feces and it was visible everywhere. On the bright side we went ten minutes down the road to Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach RV park and what a blessing that turned out to be. The place is huge, immaculate, and very Harley friendly. I see now why NMB was empty. Sun Outdoors is hopping. Even made a few new friends. The onsite restaurant has a great bar and the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. Bottom line, I owe the jerks at NMB a thank you for helping us find a bigger, better, and less expensive park with much more to offer. But rest assured Josh, I will be coming after you for the $800 you stole from me. Follow up to her reply. The pic is of the posted and agreed upon rules. No mention of enclosed I trailers period. I never signed anything mentioning trailers either. Three of your staff behind the counter couldn’t find any mention on their phones. The fact you turned off facebook reviews speaks volumes. Now I know why the place was empty. And yes I will keep on sharing.

Called ahead of time to confirm trailer can be on site. Was told no problem even after talking about total length. Arrived at 7:36 pm. Office closed. Please check in, in the morning. So we did and we were told no trailer. Basically leave the campground or they will take the trailer. I shit you not. On the mobile website, NO mention that trailers are not allowed (screenshot provided). BUT, in the office they pull up site and it says no trailers. As told by office employee, they recently updated website. Okay. We will leave. Give us a refund. Nope. So, if you have a Harley trailer, not the place for you. So we sure do leave. And now we are at an even better place. Sun Outdoors about 10 minutes away. Let me provide a screenshot because I’m sure the nasty people will reply to this. Update after reply: What a reply! You do not acknowledge the fact that the mobile site is NOT the same! Look at the screenshots. Help? Are you serious? Josh said we had an hour to remove the trailer. No exceptions. We begged! We went to the office three times! Let me thank you though. Sun Outdoors was amazing. The bar, the food, the staff…all kind and top notch. We had such an amazing time at Sun Outdoors.

Horrible communication and service. We were told when we called that we could have a trailer onsite. The morning after we arrived three people showed up to our site and told us they needed to take our trailer or we had to leave. This was the first day of a week long stay, mind you, and they would not refund us for the remainder of the trip. The manager literally said, “That’s not my problem.” This is not how you treat people. If you are looking for a stress-free vacation, I urge you to go elsewhere.

We stayed at a cabin for almost a week over the summer and were excited to try it out after being regulars at another nearby resort. It was significantly more expensive than our usual place so I had high expectations and was extremely disappointed. When we walked in I immediately thought it hadn’t yet been cleaned from the previous guests, there was food under the furniture, toothpaste on the sink, and a washcloth hanging in the shower, but there were fresh towels and the beds were made, so an attempt was made? Found a mystery stain on the bedding the first night on both the top and bottom sheets which after the initial impression of the unit made me think the bedding hadn’t been changed. Called and asked for a new blanket and sheets, they did deliver them to us. Later in our stay I saw a worker go to ‘clean’ a neighboring cabin, he was probably a high schooler and was in the unit for maybe 10 minutes so the condition our unit was in makes sense. Amenities were ok, our kids enjoyed the pool. Would not recommend a cottage.
