The positive energy of this place is unmistakable. The people are very nice and it’s what I would call rustic classy. Mother Nature still has a presence here and it’s awesome. If you need concrete pads it’s not for you. Close to the beach to walk.

North Beach camp RESORT is a joke, avoid at all cost. New ownership and property management have created a dump. Dog feces all over our site and the smell of urine made it impossible to enjoy being outside. Used the laundry facilities once and our clothes were filthy after coming out of the washing machine and after using the dryers had to bag the clothes because of the awful smell until we got to South Carolina to wash again. There was leaking water in the showers and mold was present everywhere, just really dirty, disgusting and in desperate need of repair. THE WORST PROBLEM WE HAD was the electrical service. When our ac came on our lights went dim, the microwave was running on half power and the tv would shut off. The maintenance guy (Brandon) said it was our motor home and we had to run our generator one night before calling an rv service guy. He checked our power cord and everything was fine with our motor home. He then had us drive to another site with 50 amp service, we plugged in and everything was fine. We were told this campground is known for electrical issues. We paid $250 for the rv service call and $72 for a nebulizer that was ruined. No one was in the office when we left so we left copies of those bills expecting to be reimbursed. When I called the office today I spoke to a gal who said she was the manager. She was very rude and let me know they were not going to pay us for anything and we could write a bad review because no one reads them anyway. Well I hope thats not true, it ruined our vacation and I hope it doesn’t happen to you. We plan to report our experience to the local Chamber of Commerce.

Certainly a beautiful campground with overall well kept grounds and facilities. HOWEVER, when all THREE of your AC shrouds strike the tree limb that is directly above the middle of the fairly narrow road, and you're pulling a near 14' tall 5th wheel that is said to fit in the spots capable, this leads one to believe the roads aren't going to be an issue. So, I go to counter with photos and a very calm demeanor, and explain the situation. The answer given was, and I quote, "well, looks like you should've gone more to the side. These are 50 year-old trees, and they've been part of this campground for a long time.". I, despite the shock of such a rude and dismissive response, politely asked "is that the final answer?". Each person nodded their head. We will not be coming back, which is unfortunate. Thank you, North Beach Campground, for such a terrible and unapologetic response to the damage received by your property.

Great location. Campground was kept clean and tidy. Easy walk to both beaches (Atlantic and waterway) and both restaurants. Private sites. Very dog friendly. Pool was nice. Hot tub wasn’t very hot but the weather was perfect so no big deal. We will be back.

North Beach Camp Resort is a beautiful place to stay. Our campsite was very private which we loved. The pool at the entrance was great and beach parking was conveniently right across the street. The only downside was that the staff member driving around to check rules could have been a little nicer and less condescending.
