The camp hostess hooked us up with an amazing site. Although there were a lot of campers, she placed us in an area that wasn’t as packed. We loved the site! It was clean, well kept and easy to find trash cans. We’ll definitely come back!!!

Office hours are from 6:30am to 2:30pm which is very odd for an rv park. Not knowing that, I called about 4 pm and an unfriendly woman answered “hello?” Not “Thank you for calling North Clifton RV Park. Can I help you?” I asked to make a reservation and she said “I’m not there. Call back during business hours”. So I called back at 9am the next day and again she rudely said to call back the next day because she wasn’t there. I explained that I needed to make a reservation that day because if there weren’t availability I would have to change appointments for the whole next week. So I asked if there was someone else I could talk to at the park. She said “no, just call back”. Most parks use mobile reservation apps so they can complete reservations in the event they can’t be on site. If you can’t manage to do that, then at least have someone on site to do the job while you’re gone. If you can’t even manage that, then at least apologize for the inconvenience instead of being rude. It’s just not that hard to be nice. I will never give this park my business.

This was a charming little RV Park. The setting along the San Francisco River was nestled between beautiful cliffs. There is a developed path for walking or birding. Big Horn Sheep grazed the cliffs and in the park amongst the RVs. Truly enjoyed our visit.

Our host was very nice and a great help. Good deal for a spot with electric.

Real cute park in a narrow canyon along the San Francisco River in Clifton. The main reason for our trip to Clifton was to see the Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. First afternoon were getting set up and I saw 3 of them on the northeast side of the steep canyon walls... too far away to take a picture with my cheap phone but was quite a sight! We stayed 2 nights and got up ready to leave and drove down the road to a small cafe for breakfast (left my phone in the travel trailer). BIG mistake. As we pulled out headed for the cafe there stood a large ram with 2 females and what looked to be a younger ram. They are awesome but close. Kick myself for not having my phone. Clifton is a cute little town and just down the mountain from one of the largest Cooper mines in the world at Morenci. Need to go see if in the area!
