I have been a permanent resident of this park for about a year. Originally, I came down here last November to spend the winter. Within one week, my wife and I were playing bingo, shuffleboard, cards with other residents, doing water aerobics, and using the gym. Other activities include pool tables, dart boards, pickleball courts, a clubhouse with full kitchen, outdoor kitchen, screened in outdoor eating area, heated swimming pool, library, and dog park. Residents get together to play cards, do yoga and aerobics, have dinners and potlucks, and compete with each other at pool, pickleball, cards, and shuffleboard. The park is clean and pretty well maintained. The employees are friendly and the weather here is great. We liked the park so much that we decided to permanently move here within our first week. I highly recommend this park for short or long term stays.

The Burkharts Abroad

Not a bad campground at all but there is really nothing nearby for food or entertainment. People are friendly, the place is well maintained, and it’s affordable. There is a pool, gym, lots of activities, etc…

Giving 5 stars because the resort is excellent in almost every way . We camped here in our new Arctic Fox truck camper for 2 years in a row .The next year management refused us because although our truck camper was worth far more than many old run down park models there , they wanted to bring in more "affluent" looking RV types . Sorry management , but you are off our park list , no matter what we travel with in the future .

Great place, my folks winter there. Motel rooms are a bit sparce, not many amenities. Bring your own shampoo and soap, on the upside, we did get a personal safety packet from the office when we arrived. The park is very clean and well maintained, the salt water pool looked great but we didn't get the chance to take a dip.

We are spending a few months here. It's very clean,nice people and staff. It's a little tucked away from things but only about a hour and a half away from the Gulf or Coast and if you are a fisherman it's 20 to 25 minutes from okeechobee. Everyone enjoys a place to stay on vacation that all you have to bring is your clothes and they definitely welcome your pets.You will like it so much you won't want to go home. You can stay weekly and monthly which is great! We loved our trip so much we decided to stay.🙂🙂
