Camped here for many years as my family loved this park. This year, the park was sold again but this time into corporate ownership. They started changing all of the rules that made the park what it was and added a bunch of new fees on top of the already high prices. For a standard weekend with a family of 4, our rate increased by over $75 for the weekend, over $150 if you stay for a holiday. That is almost an entire weekend at another park. On top of that, they have no plans to make significant upgrades to the park for 2022. They are also trying to push out seasonal campers and make the park a "destination resort" rather than a campground. You cannot bring your own golf cart now as a camper unless you are a seasonal (and pay $500 fee) so you are forced to rent theirs if you want to roll around the large campground. Loved this park and its a shame the new owners want to destroy a gem for profit in the upper thumb of Michigan.

New owners this year and the prices have skyrocketed. We discovered North Port Huron Jellystone after friends stayed here seasonally for the first time last year and we visited them multiple weekends and had a blast. They have now left the park not returning as seasonal campers due to the rate and rule changes and sadly we will not be camping here this year not only because they drove out our friends but also due to the rate hikes. The new owners are making a big mistake pushing out their loyal seasonal members who were responsible for driving a lot of new weekend campers to the park. Shame

We’ve been to lots of campgrounds & never had any issues… but I would recommend not coming here if it’s not hot out or when it’s been raining… also getting a cement slab site ONLY here. I understand the weather is unpredictable. However, it does rain and majority of their grass sites are FILLED with mud— they were towing campers out with tractors. Our fire pit was also flooded (we had a beautiful Saturday day too). We paid $75 a night for a mud pit site that we couldn’t even use. We have a 1 year old so it was extremely difficult not to have him walk at our site we had to walk around the campground all weekend or stay inside our camper. With that said, it seems they have a lot to do for kids in the summer. I would be willing to MAYBE try it during summer time and only getting a cement slab site. They did have a huge blow up trampoline that was a lot of fun, golf cart and bike rentals, a beach, small nature trail. The trick or treating was a lot of fun as well. Again, we’ve been to many campgrounds with rain before but nothing quite like this.

We have been to this location a couple times now and love it. I do wish that the trees were a bit more developed, but this is a great place. Lots of kid stuff and activities. The new swim park is great as well. Just wanted to add that I wrote this two years ago and we still love coming here and look forward to seeing this place now as Jellystone.
