The cabin was adorable and so cozy. Clean and fully supplied with everything u may need. It was small but comfortable except the bed. It was awful. Maybe invest in a new mattress and go with a queen. Would definitely stay again. Thx Pat and Beverly.

If there was an option for zero or negative stars, this place would be the one to get it. Very rude owners. They appeared “nice” upon checking in but we came to realize that was only due to them being very greedy people and were waiting for us to pay them rent before showing their true colors. Everything came with a price. We paid monthly to stay there over the summer due to my husband’s job, and we had to pay extra for a fire ring, to use the bath house, and even for my mother to come and stay in OUR camper, on OUR site we had already paid for that month. The reason my parents did stay with us was because the cabin they had rented when they had came to visit us previously was gross, and full of mold and cobwebs. My mom even lost electric for the rest of her stay the first time and they didn’t offer her a refund for anything!! My mother in law came to stay in a different one of the cabins and it had broke down couch and leaks over the bed and they had to leave a night early due to a storm causing rain to pour in on them. Again no refund. On one of our last days there the owner Beverly came hollering across the yard area because we were packing some of our things up in my mother in laws truck so we could leave the next morning. All because they pulled in her campground, and they were staying at a hotel instead of at one of their cabins. They are NOT nice people and money hungry. I wouldn’t ever go there especially if you have children, and don’t want to get eaten alive by flies. The only decent thing I can say about this place is they kept the grass well maintained. But even that was a headache because of how rude they were about it. My children had bikes, and they would fly off the handle if the bike was sitting in our 2 foot of grass by our camper. SHARED grass with our neighbors might I add. Terrible is all I can say.

The owners Mrs. Beverly and Mr Pat are great people. The campground is well kept and the shower rooms are always so clean. We always meet the best people here. We have been coming for over 10 years and this will always be our quick getaway place.

Full hookup 50 amp service for our 35’ 5th wheel. Off the beaten path but suited our need to be close to Elizabeth City but not too close. Very quiet. Spotless grounds with level spacious sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Permanent sites were clean and quiet as well. I could see it being less quiet in the summer but seems well payed out and managed to handle the crowds. Off season is serene!
