This is a really nice park with a large beautiful lake. Wife and I stayed 1 night at Elks #39. The campground roads were paved and the campsites were gravel and level. Very quiet park and we had a wonderful evening capped by an awesome sunset over the lake! The showers and bathrooms were amazing! They even have a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. One set you can pay via your phone if you don't have quarters. One negative would be it's a hot dry area with little shade. We would highly recommend the park for sure!

Excellent campground! Love the paved loops, laundry facilities and shower house! We stayed at the Elks Loop at site 39 in April and it was so quiet. We will definitely recommend this to other fellow campers and stay here again when we can.

Nice views clean beach, clean bathrooms and nice camping sites. Could improve-terrible directions markers. Some are good on the way but then it gets difficult.

Our favorite place! We stayed here 4 years ago and decided to make this place a stop over on our trip this year to the redwoods. We stayed on a Tuesday so it was as if we were the only ones there. There were about 6 RVs total. Even if it has been packed each site is huge and has amazing views. It was so peaceful waking up to the sounds of birds. I highly recommend staying here! Well maintained, has swimming but a storm came through so we couldn't swim. It was peaceful waking through both campsites after the storm.

We spent all day at this lake boating and fishing. It is beautiful with Lots of wildlife as well as an incredible amount of space to explore. The fact that it is NOT a no-wake lake doesn't seem to bother the fishing much as most of the boaters see your pole in the water, and stay a respectable distance away. Not to mention, I love letting my boat play a little harder than usual too… Unfortunately, however, we didn't catch many fish- that is the only reason why I am not giving it five stars. UPDATE- it’s been five years since that review and now it is 5 stars. Did you see the wiper I caught?

we had site number 42 by the reservoir. It was a beautiful sunset. I would stay there again. There is limited shade. The bathrooms were very well kept.

We’ve been checking out more lakes in the area and this one has so many unique areas. They have a main swim beach but many other areas to swim and paddleboard. Camp site had great views and were clean with showers. Everyone was respectful. Ironically sunset beach proved to be awesome. What a sunset!!!

Beautiful state park on a bluff. Sites all have picnic tables with metal shelters. Electric only. Water available scattered around campground. Poor cell service with Verizon. No data in most places. Great sunset viewing. Bathrooms and showers are clean and with good water pressure.

Nice campground sites are kind of close together and not a lot of trees between sites. Sites are close to lake and made for a nice walk before dinner. Since it's off season only bathroom open is vault by the boat launch. There is a nice archery range didn't have a bow but it look like it would be fun.
