Quiet peaceful wonderful park whether you're in a RV or tent. Lots of birds to watch and listen to and squirrels. Camping spots are not cramped and you can fish right from the shore.

North Toledo Bend State Park is a fantastic getaway for nature lovers and families alike. We enjoyed a campfire and spent some relaxing time fishing along the lake. One of the highlights was spotting the eagle nest on-site—such a cool opportunity to watch wildlife up close! The park is super dog-friendly, so our pup had a blast exploring with us. Everything was clean and well-maintained, from the trails to the facilities. Definitely a peaceful spot worth visiting again!

2 of my sons wanted to tent camp here. We’ve now been to 9 out of the 21 LA State Parks. This park is beautiful and has lots to do for all ages -we liked playing corn hole up by the boat launch and fishing. Stayed at Campsite 1 to be close to the bathrooms which were heated and clean. All the sites have tent pads, electric and water hookups, grill, fire ring, and picnic table.

Stayed 3 nights in August. Typical Louisiana weather, hot and humid. Facilities are outstanding for a State Park. RV sites are level and include 50/30 E/W, with a dump station on way out. Pool is clean, with teen lifeguards. No non USCG approved floats or alcohol allowed. Bathrooms and showers are older, but well maintained and clean. Boat ramp with marked lanes out to main lake. Picnic area with covered playground, horse shoe pits, volley ball area and Frisbee golf course. Will definitely be back

Hands down the best national park I've visited. Clean and beautiful with friendly staff. The restrooms were immaculate and well stocked. There's cabins and tents for rent. There's a pool and a laundry mat on site. The hiking trails are awesome with plenty of wildlife. I've spotted two bald eagles an armadillo and a woodpecker. Definitely will come back!

I wish I didn't even have to give it 1* just to write a review! The almost $200 a night Cabins Deserve a -10! I have never been so disappointed in my entire life and I've stayed at some definitely dirty, nasty, not up to par hotels before! But when you reserve a Cabin ESPECIALLY a "Handicapped Accessible" One! You expect some level of Clean, Decent Rooms, Clean Bed Covers, Clean Sheets, More than 3 towels maybe! These Cabins Are the biggest disappointment I believe I've come to face for the price paid! They are filthy sheet sets are laid on top of absolutely disgusting mattress covers! And I mean just nasty! The "Handicapped Accessible " is ONLY true to get into the cabin door itself! There's no Handicapped Shower nor even a Handicapped Accessible toilet much less a bedroom! The wheelchair can't fit through any part of it! So what are you supposed to do if you can't walk? The staff are not friendly at all I'm guessing they do not like their job! There's a very simple fix for that! I will NEVER return to stay at the Cabins at North Toledo Bend! And i will do everything I can do make sure that people are not overcharged to stay in such a disgusting environment! They are absolutely unacceptable for anyone to stay in!

Peaceful location, great for winter camping to get away to quiet. No cell service with t mobile and no Wi-Fi in camp ground but is available at cabins. Beautiful sunsets.

This is a great State Park... would be easy to give it five stars...but at the time we were here the water pressure was low and the biggest complaint would be that there are NO trash cans in the campgrounds...lots of trash cans at the group camp and cabins... also at the dump station...but none in the campground...please put some of those racoon proof trash cans in the campground...thank you...we will be back

I used to go here to the pool every summer when I was a little girl, it used to be $1.00 per person for the wrist band to swim there I am mow 33 with two children of my own. I wonder if the price is still the same.

This place is beautiful! There are a ton of boat launches for those here to fish, but I'm sure there are also hiking trails. The campground is very quiet and has camping spots and cabins for rent. There is a very large pool, and one boat launch is in the campground.
