Quiet campground, $10 a night. Bathrooms lacked toilet paper, but we're clean. For $20 there's a Nevada state park about a mile down the road with power and showers. Up to you thought I'd share options.

The trees are finally recovering from the fire a few years back. They're getting taller but not quite big enough to produce lots of shade. The view from the top "group" sites is pretty impressive.

Crabby Acres

I stopped there September 22, 2018 and it was closed and gated due to a recent wildfire. There is camping nearby on tribal lands that missed the fires.

This is an excellent and cheap campground near Wildhorse reservoir. The bathrooms are in okay shape, and some of the camp sites really need some attention, but it’s 6$ per night, and the sites have some excellent views of the area. There are also owls that hang out in the aspens, so that’s pretty sweet
