Beautiful campground with great amenities and views! The bathhouses are clean. They have water hookups and 50 amp sites; some sites are a bit cramped but overall there isn’t a bad site in the park. Very well maintained and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Super obsessed with this campground. We stayed once and got hooked! Right on the dam, great little store and game room, sites on the river. We can’t wait until we get selected for a seasonal spot!

This was our first time camping here. Our site was 49. I would suggest not getting 48 or 49 unless you're in a pop-up or tent. It is a small and uneven ground. I really like the campground. It's a nice long walk for taking the dogs and utilizing the trails as well.

I reserved this camp because I was supposed to be camping with grandsons and wanted them to have amenities. I don't camp in places that cost that much and to my shock that close together. My site had a great view and I enjoyed it. However being elbow to elbow with the next camper is not my style of camping. The photo shows fried fish. I brought my own. Many people were fishing, but No one seemed to be catching any at that time. I traded some of my fish to use the neighbors kayak. Its a pretty area, the showers/restrooms are very nice, there's a well stocked store that has a pizza parlor. If you like close quarters it's your kinda place.

Father’s Day Camping Trip Cut Short by Rude Staff and Inconsistent Rules As a divorced dad spending Father’s Day weekend with my two young boys, I was hoping for a relaxing and memorable camping trip. Unfortunately, our experience at this campground was ruined by hostile staff, inconsistent rule enforcement, and a total lack of common sense. We arrived with my street-legal, state-plated Polaris RZR loaded on a trailer — not driven in — and hadn’t even set up our site before being approached by the campground director. He immediately told me I wasn’t allowed to have the RZR in the campground and insisted I park it a mile away at the boat launch, despite it being registered and treated just like any other legal vehicle under state law. I calmly explained this, but he was completely unwilling to listen or consider any logic. The next day, after using the RZR to meet friends and go fishing, I returned and explained the situation to a very kind and understanding woman at the front gate, who agreed it was reasonable to let me drive back to the site — especially since the RZR was loaded with valuable gear, tools, fishing equipment, and a large bag of ice. I was driving slowly, respectfully, and bothering no one. Then, midway through the campground, another staff member ran out yelling and completely overreacted in front of my kids, demanding that we pack up and leave. I managed to de-escalate things, but was still forced to move the RZR back to the distant parking lot. Meanwhile, plenty of campers were blasting music, singing karaoke at full volume, and ripping through the grounds on loud Harleys and diesel trucks — none of which seemed to bother staff in the slightest. I even asked about plated dirt bikes and was told they weren’t allowed either. The staff’s behavior was not only overbearing and inconsistent, it bordered on harassment. What should’ve been a special trip for me and my boys turned into a weekend of being targeted, hassled, and made to feel completely unwelcome. We were so fed up, we ended up cutting our trip short and leaving early — something no parent should have to do on Father’s Day. Unless this campground completely revamps its policies and staff training, I would strongly advise others — especially families — to look elsewhere.

Campground was well maintained with clean restrooms and showers. Quiet hours were followed by campers. The sites were large with electricity and water. My pictures were the view from my waterfront site: sunrise, water's edge and sunset. The restroom was even decorated for Halloween.

This was a great place for our annual family camping trip. We are a group of 10 adults and 7 littles with activities for everyone. We took kayaks and paddle boards, but boats are options too. The North County Trail runs through the campground which was a bonus for our hiking group. The suspension bridge is an easy hike as well as a beautiful sight. The family has requested this as a repeat visit!

This is an awesome place to camp at. I love how the road is paved throughout the park. We rented one of their cabins and dock... talk about adorable. It was perfect for the weekend. The bathroom/shower house was so clean every time I used it. The grounds around the camp were all nicely groomed. This campground has many features that make it standout from other ones... a large beach, boat launch, camp store with everything you would need for camping plus more, a pizzeria (only open during the weekends), trails for kids to ride bikes on or hike, playground, arcade, paddle board rental and even offers live entertainment several times throughout the summer. Where else could you get all that while camping? Northern Exposure is definitely the place for you to camp at if you're looking for a relaxing time with your friends and/or family.

Stayed 1 night for the Mesick Mushroom Festival. Very clean campground suited best to RVs vs tents. My only critique was bathrooms are a fairly long walk from where our tent site was, but it was manageable. Pizza was 10/10 and I'd pay the $5 daily access fee just for the $20 pizza! Great for anglers and families!

This was opening weekend in April. The sites are large with privacy. The park was clean and quiet. The staff at the office was very nice and helpful. We had a great weekend for our first time here. Definitely on our good to return list. Also close to some great hiking trails. We also left behind a friend

We had a great time camping it is a very nice place the people there are very friendly. We went in the fall the wind off the lake can be quiet cold. But it was still a beautiful place. I would go again any time.

The second time we went there and its a family-friendly campground with clean facilities. We had a great weekend. Make your reservations first thing in the year if you want to camp here. We will definitely be back more next year!

Beautiful are and prices are competitive. We utilize this campground every year for the family reunion. We have multiple sites needed and this campground does quite well keeping us all together. The only complaint I have is the narrow roadway through the grounds. Can make it a bit difficult to get your camper/rv in some sites due to this and some trees. Other than that we love this campground!

Nice views, decent campsites, and great water access. We ended up tent camping in the camper area since that was what was available, so I can't speak to the other side of the campground. Staff was friendly, and everyone around us was pleasant. Firewood and bags of ice available on-site, though a little expensive.

We love this camp ground. Plenty of activities for kids and adults!! Plus they have a little pizza shop on site. Camp staff is very friendly and helpful. Shower house is clean and water gets hot. The only complaint is, it's hard to get a reservation. But we will definitely camp here again!!
