Seasonal campers for 1 1/2 yrs. Not good on upkeep of campground, last 5 weeks bath house not cleaned. Most activities sponsored by Seasonal campers. Raise rates but no improvements. Always feel like your being watched by employees.
TWO FOR THE ROAD
We stayed at Northwoods gaited park for 2 months full time, and didn’t experience any issues. The staff was friendly & accommodating. Check in was smooth, and Jean came by to make sure we didn’t have any problems. We were located on a dead end roadway, and the railroad tracks were behinds our back in spot with the train coming through a few times a day. The horn was rarely blown and after a few days we didn’t even notice it. Our neighbors directly on each side and across from us were lovely. The area we were located in was quiet, with most traffic via golf carts (seasonal guests only are allowed to have them which didn’t have any impact on our stay) on the weekends, and even then it was not bothersome. There are ponds to fish (catch and release), a pool, a ton of green space, and a lot of roads to walk to get exercise. They have food trucks and different types of entertainment on the weekends. Right around the corner from the Park is a quaint restaurant called Garden Prarie Cafe. We are many meals there. All in all a 10/10 experience.

Stayed a week here and we have mixed feelings. Met some nice folks with seasonal sites and the location is good. But… the park roads are so dusty that many folks “water” the road trying to reduce the dust. They also don’t allow electric bikes which is strange and probably has a sad story about a few idiots ruining it for the masses. They also don’t allow ANY food or drinks at the pool. You can’t take a can of Diet Coke or some crackers to enjoy a snack poolside! Again, sounds like an owner who uses the lowest common denominator to make decisions and then the best customers get punished too. Probably won’t go back.

We can't say enough good things about the staff here. Tracey George Doug Jean and Angel are exceptional people who do a great job managing this park. They don't get enough credit for what they do. A big thank you to the whole staff. Bud and Josie #17

We had one of the worst experiences we've ever had at an RV park here. The location itself might be okay, but the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, unhelpful, and clearly uninterested in making anyone feel welcome. When we had questions about our site or the amenities, we were met with eye rolls, short answers, or were flat-out ignored. One staff member even raised their voice when we asked for help resolving an issue with our electrical hookup — which turned out to be their fault. The office hours were inconsistent, and trying to get someone to answer the phone or respond to emails was next to impossible. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. Not to mention, several other guests we spoke to had similar complaints, so it wasn't just us. We travel often and have stayed at many RV parks — this one ranks at the bottom due to the unprofessional and downright hostile attitude of the staff. Do yourself a favor and camp literally anywhere else.
