Very nice 9 hole golf course. Camping available, swimming pool

The campground is very nice. Lots of large shade trees, and plenty of room for a camper and lots of space to hang a hammock.

Notukeu Regional Park for tenting, is very inexpensive ... $10/night. Washrooms/shower facilities are not impressive...hopefully the new ones under construction by the pool will be a huge improvement and the camping in the park is in need of some major TLC. HOWEVER, the 9 hole grass green golf course WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. Hector, caretaker of the course, is very personable and likeable! The course offers cart rentals, a couple of frustrating water hazards (lol), wide and narrow fareways, and is a wonderful course for such a small community in South West Saskatchewan! This gem of a golf course helps to compensate for the neglected wood fence and underwhelming washroom/showers of the Regional Park. The town itself, Ponteix, is very friendly community, has several interesting architectural buildings, all the basic businesses like bar, grocery, school, post office, motel, RCMP, etc.
