Tons of concrete pads for RVs, but we were placed on gravel. Grass and weeds not mowed. Ant mounds everywhere. Couldn't even sit outside our travel trailer. I look around and see empty spots we could have used. We have been coming here for 5 years and this is the worst it has ever been.

This is a beautiful resort. Lots of opportunities to be outside to enjoy the weather. Pristine swimming pool. Women's restrooms are private individual shower/toilet combos. The river was wonderful. They have a basketball court, volleyball court, and playgrounds. Beautiful scenery to drink your coffee to. I didn't give it five stars because our RV spot was overgrown with stickers and fire ant hills. The washer/dryer in the laundry room hadn't been serviced so they were not working. And the women's restroom toilet paper had not been replaced in about a day. However I would come back again and again. I will bring a weed Wacker and bug poison if I have to, it was that wonderful. Consider that I was there for a week during July 4th....a busy time and yet it was great.

Great place to take your family for a fun summer vacation. They have river or pool to swim for the kids to have fun. They have playgrounds and swing seat under tree so you can relax. I have been going there twice a year camping with a very large family since 2023. The staff very friendly! and they work with you if need help. I'm very thankful for that. I'll be looking forward to camp there again next year or sooner! And thanks again for the staff that works there they are helpful.

Water was almost non existent and that was in June. Not sure with all the rains....The stay was fantastic. Friendly folks and service. All the amenities are nice. You can rent golf carts. Stay here but swim at Quince! Totally different water experiences.

Nueces River RV & Cabin Resort nice family place, clean Cabins but bring everything you need except toilet paper. River access, pool, splash pad, Park, and pretty view.

Absolutely loved our stay! Ladies in the office were so nice and helpful. We got to swim and explore a lot! Most of the river was shallow but there were spots that were deeper than 6 feet you just need to know where to look. Dog friendly. Loved the easy access to water/electricity. We cannot wait to camp here again!

We tent camped 04/2024 Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean. The girls in my family were very happy with the individual restrooms, and that’s always a big plus! Great location on the river, with plenty of wildlife. Nice splash pad and pool, even a driving range! Truly a gem. You will not regret staying here. Camp wood is the nearest town (7 min drive) and has most things you’ll need. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place for camping with your family and friends. Since our arrival, the office staff were very friendly and helpful with out first time visit to this place. All the park is super clean and the restrooms gets cleaned frequently. We felt safe and our kids really enjoy it. Bad thing we had some rain, so they couldn't get into the pool and water park, but there is a reason to return.

I was greeted with a smile and was welcomed right away. I am a cyclist passing through and this is a beautiful layout and quite peaceful. The grounds are very well kept and they have quite the selection of lodging options from RV Rigs to tent sites. Nearby food option just a mile up the road. Super friendly staff and I would highly recommend this location.

Great cabin, we were bike touring and needed a warm place to sleep for the night. Be aware you do have to provide your own linens, or pay $50 for theirs. They also have a list of things you need to do before exiting (clean and put away all dishes, sweep floors, take out trash, etc) to avoid a fee. I’m giving a 4/5 bc the price seemed a little steep once we realized there were no linens and we had to clean the place and there was no one there. I’m sure it’s a super spot in the summer and if you stay there for at least a few days.

First time camping for me. It was just myself and my wife. Jerry and Penny made the experience as great as it could be. Not sure why some folks have a hard time here - its pretty simple just follow a few rules and show some consideration for your fellow campers and it will be a marvelous time. Campground itself was in great shape the walk to the river is not that bad, but if you have some health issues you should be aware of the rocky terrain heading down to what for me was one of the most gorgeous rivers I've seen. Cant say enough great things about this spot so much so, that we've already booked our 2nd trip.

Love the concrete pads and pull through sites, ours was #17. The pool is huge and beautiful area to relax with shade awnings with chairs and lounges along with kid splash area, very well maintained. They also have a great basketball court and volleyball area with access path to the Nueces River. Nice area to bike around Campground. Our dogs enjoyed the walks and river along with the dog run they have. Its quite and beautiful views. Will definitely be returning Campers!!!

We had the best time! We went for a small family vacation and accidentally found this place online. We stayed in one of the shelters which is enclosed with AC and electricity. It is clean, quiet and very comfortable! A little bit of a walk to the river but not far and TOTALLY worth it! Really nice pool and the public bathroom/shower facilities are kept very clean. A short drive to cafes and convenience stores. We are already planning a trip back!
