They charged my card to "hold" my spot that isn't even open yet. Didn't have a 30amp spot so they gave me a 50 Amp then proceeded to charge me for 50amps, which is kind of rip off because regardless of your amperage YOU pay an electric bill. They were very shady in my opinion, my wife called and is not very good with people and I feel like this lady took advantage of her and tried to take her money when we wouldn't even be there until 2 weeks later. And the woman told her it would only be a pending charge to "make sure our card worked". Just too many red flags before we even got there. Although I had no problem getting my money refunded, she told me after refunding my money that I no longer have a reservation because I asked not to ve charged anything until I've moved in and have accepted the spot. Edit: the below response from the owner in no way reflects how shady they were acting towards my wife. There wasn't any "miscommunication" they blatantly lied to her and took her money. Luckily we have 400 to spare otherwise it could have caused problems for us. Especially with me traveling in an ice storm yesterday.

Was a nice family owned rv park. Has since been bought. The new owner is very aggressive and demands unusual requirements for a stay. Increased the rent rates to no benefit of the park. I recommend trying any number of parks in the area before considering this park. Experience is over all non-welcoming with new management.

This is a long stay camp ground. The grounds are well kept and everyone is friendly. The campground is quiet which is a huge bonus.

Nice, friendly, nice and cozy spot to set up for a night, or a month or more. Better keep your dog on a leash though. They don't cotton to free roaming pets. But all in all I like it really well.
